I've certainly been scumread for that before.

Because you seem to be trying to convince me that you're town. But you're also reading me as scum. If I'm scum, no amount of convincing is going to make me townread you.

Consider that, and then ask yourself if you actually think I'm scum, or if you're just scum and trying to self-pres. Because I think it's the latter.
