Voting for yourself is against your wincon regardless of your alignment and a terrible way to convince anybody of anything. I'm not very receptive to that line of play.

I'm making a point. Fonti says she always lynches scum as town. She's scumreading me. I'm volunteering to show that's she's scumreading townies, thereby getting her lynched.

There's 3 hours left to deadline. There's plenty of time left to lynch me. That argument holds no water.

I expected a mostly chill time and then get to read this bullshit you guys are cooking up.

Fonti is between 90 and 95% town.

You do not read fonti the way you guys are attempting to read her.
It is just not a thing.

I mean Mathblades case is basically the worst thing ever and the fact that they cling to it for what feels like weeks is mind-boggling.
There is not even anything anbyone has to say about the case.

Fonti is a mood based player and if she is not full in the mood for a game but still playing (because as a regular she is kind of expected to play in most games here) then she will not give 100%.
If you want to see a 100% fonti game, just check the last witchhunt on fantasystrike.
Try not to look and Mal or myself in that game, we don't talk about that game. But you can see fonti being hyped about a game, that time because eido rarely plays (that is my personal assumption) and she rolled town with him, which made them both go all out.


Typhons case .. not as bad, but then again it does not get worse than Mathblades case.
1. That might be a thing. It does not convince me, but there is nothing I can say against it.

2. Fontis reads seem like reaches most of the time. I played countless of games with her. She is certain about reads just due to a single word or phrase. Sometimes even a smile or something like that.
I do the same in videomafia, less on forum.

It has nothing to do with being better or worse. It is just a fact. Most of the time she is right with those bullshit reads, but that is because most of those reads are on new players who are easier to read for her or people she has a shitton of meta with.
It is a downside because she is kind of pressured into reading some things towny even when she rolls scum.

Fonti has conviction. Always.
You will rarely ever see fonti not pouncing on her scumreads and most of the time she can't be convinced if she has made up her mind.
That is way more a forum thing, but the two of us had screaming matches in videomafia as well.
If she thinks someone is scum then she will push it and have fun doing so. Always.
Her scumplay is very similar to her townplay in most parts, the important difference is that she will try to get partner that deserve it in her townreads (if she can a believable case/read for them being town).

Her (optimal) play for the most part is similar to Eidolonic, with the difference that Eido plays 1 style normally and plays it as either alignment, and busses his partners doing so (if he is scum).
Her play changes up depending on her mood/motivation to play.

Last game you could totally see that she was motivated because she rolled town, she stepped on a break half way through d1, because she did not want to be a nightkill, in case she had to protect her weak ass priest..
This game there is no one to directly to protect, so she did not break at any point during the game and is playing all out.


That leaves Jari.
I will admit that his case is the best. If he has townreads on all the people fonti is pushing on, then it makes sense to think fonti is scum.
It just does.
He should really just listen to us and believe that the people that know von well know his play better than he does. because we do.
And unless All 3 of us are scum together, there is no way we are wrong. No way.

There was a game before where fonti and I protected Von from all of the game because we knew he was town. We are just that good. Period.

TL : DR Fontis play here is almost always town. Her towcircle is good (well i disagree with miner and math, but I can see her miner reasoning at least and her mathblade read has gone down by now) and almost all the scumreads on her are circumstancial not alignment indicative bullsh*t.

I think it's interesting that my early font push made the scumteam think that she was lynch able and that if she went into gear Delphine/jan/ect weren't going to come around.

Like, that wasn't my intention when I started it (my intention was to lynch font), but whatever works.

I hate the tom lynch right here because it will say very little regardless of how he flips, imo. Like, for half the game, I don't think anybody's reads will be forced to change. But, honestly, since he has a decent chance of flipping scum, that's fine. Boring games are ok too.

Jarizok is much spicier, and excluding people claiming time exemptions, I'm interested in who will actually pull the trigger on that one.

I think he's scum for the way he reacted to my advice/prodding. That could be weird new player theory, but it just feels off to me.

 

She's definitely not pouncing on the opportunity to lynch me right. Neither is Vaimes, who gave me the idea for this play in the first place, which brings me to the other bit of the quote.

You all being scum is not at all impossible. I can't count on that not being the case. It would explain Font's hype just as well as her being happy town. She'd be super hyped with a scum team of Font/Vaimes/Jan/tom/Delphine or 4 of those 5. Or 3.
