I can see someone subbing in close to EoD saying "not reading anything until the day is over".

I agree that the way he did it, was awful.

I have subbed into games and said from the get go that I won't read everything. (as both alignments)
That is ok for spammy games, but you should still read up on important parts or iso people.

I am making more an argument for playing in a similar way .. he overdid it on all fronts.

And just in case of him being a pr or something, that slot should have never been the shot that night.

 

Sadly, lynching that slot doesn't do much as far as votecount analysis goes.

We can lynch MathBlade and have font shoot either tom or Eco, see where that gets us.

I'm assuming we're either in 9v4, 8v1v4, or 9v1v3 with strong scum PRs. Assuming the worst (eight townies alive, a Neutral, and four mafia), a mislynch + misvig + NK immediately puts us at 5v1v4 (LyLo).

Does anyone think Math/Eco/tom are all town?

I completely agree with you that Math this game is very very similar to Math last game. However, I believe they're good enough that they wouldn't be extremely obvious about it if they randed scum twice in two games. I also remember that in witchchat last time around they mentioned that last game was an "off" game and that real-life commitments made it difficult for them to participate properly. They also mentioned that it was typical of them to get scumread as town and townread as scum.

So therein lies my uncertainty with Math. However, if fonti trueclaimed (hah, I definitely didn't see that one coming), and I'm assuming Vaimes isn't getting cced here, then I don't know where the scum is beyond tom. And because I believed in the tom/Vaimes or tom/typh world and I always kept the idea of tom/font/vaimes in the back of my mind as well.

Q this game is weird. He's definitely not pinging me the same way he did when he was seer in ayaw and almost got lynched for it. He also doesn't have the same certainty that he did when he was bussing both Math and I in TH. If he's scum, I'm not sure if this is because last time he realized that he was earning a lot of towncred for bussing the two of us but he knew he wouldn't be able to win alone, and so this time he's being less certain with his reads, or if he's town and he actually doesn't know/isn't as sure as he was in TH.

Either way, they just made their way onto my radar.

I also dunno what to think about mal. In all the games I've played with him he's been town, and he always seemed to be rather obviously town. The only exception being that HP mafia game where I rolled scum and he played a gambit that backfired on him. But other than that he's usually pretty obviously town and a very strong town player.

Probably need to take a closer look at these three + typh.

With 12 ppl it has no neutral with 13 it might have?

Like there was a fairly high chance of sk in eido games with one player number.

 

Pretty sure that's because font was running the setup.

Yes I haven't provided any. I haven't had time to. Without getting into things I can't really talk about I spent some of D1 otherwise engaged and D2 had claims at the front of the day that make no sense to me and I have been drowning. I have been reading the thread yes. However 3-4 hours to make a read wall just isn't happening today.

I have said my theories I don't see anything actively dissuading those theories.

Now I am driving to the window shop.

Hm. Thanks for that, although I obviously can't really do much with a meta read. One thing I noticed reading back over the D1 EoD is that Fluffy was around and posting, but wasn't really interested in who they lynched: they voted who they were told to vote. They also posted multiple votecounts, which is archetypal scum posting things to be useful instead of scumhunting.

Also #2117 pinged me really hard. It's so tentatively trying to get Fonti lynched, but is really passive and wishy washy about it.

Are these really things that only town fluffy would do? Because they're setting off alarm bells for me.

I'm definitely biased, but I don't really see how CF not knowing what Day it was is actually scummy. Yeah, it's incredibly poor to replace into a game and do nothing to get even the slightest clue, but being an idiot isn't scummy. This slot was a decent vig shot last Night because it was just a pure unknown, but I'm actually here now so you have to engage with me and not just write me off if you think I'm scum.

 

I wasn't scumreading Jarizok or fonti, so I went with the one whose wagon I was townreading more. If I had been on for the tom push, I would gladly have voted him.

 

I can't see a reason fonti dies today. If you don't trust her with the shot, then we just democratize who is killed: that way even if she's scum/SK we win with an extra shot.

dLGN was on fonti at some point, I can see him being the scum there with fonti town/3rd. But you have a point.

 

Though I feel like mal is also right in that the scumteam really wants her dead. :/

 

I dislike this post. Its very chainy, especially read in light of Miners behavior to fonti Day 1.

IIRC he also has very good reads and a tendency to game-solve late? Not sure what I'm drawing that from, but for me he was very much a 'leave alone for now'.

 

I don't think we should base our assumptions on whether or not our mod "likes" certain roles, should we?
