Ok, so day 1 Jan did not make any impression on me at all, which I guess says something by itself.

I've been liking him less and less as Day2 has gone on, since he's posting these long posts that seem to be saying stuff but are actually pretty devoid of solid opinions when you get into them. Take a look at his 2168, where he has all this text just to not give a read on Math, call Q null, call mal null... Similarly, there is his post 2180, where he seems to be giving reads, but is just talking about tom's reads, and saying that Typhon is possibly town, which is unhelpful.

So I can see him being scumread, but I still wouldn't vote him over the likes of fonti or tom.

 

I am voting Jan because an animal on my beach farm told me too.

I've been uncomfortable with Jan the whole game. He was dead null early on but something struck me about the way he was like "omg guys Von and Fonti are obvtown you've gotta be kidding me" etc. like, I know the three of them know each other better than anyone else knows them, but it looks super opportunistic given that Von is town and Fonti MIGHT be town for scum Jan to be up in everyone's face about how towny they are when they had respectively awful D1s and half the game was scumreading them.

So, I'm okay with this vote. I might not be super active for the rest of the Day because of a crazy week irl and running my MU game, but I'll check in as much as I can.

I am not much of a fan of Math given the Fonti revelation, but I'm still sideyeing her so hard that I can't really blame Math yet until we know more.

 

Why is using emotion only ok if it agrees with a read? Why is my read fake because my interpretation of emotion conflicts with my logical, scummy read of dLGN instead of supporting it?

Vaimes: Fluffy's 2210 is another ping. It's not a read, it's trying to agree with a false dichotomy and push lynches indiscriminately. Fake edit AND 2247 ("I have been organically growing a scum read on the person who just got wagoned what a terrific coincidence!")

 

Would lynch anyone outside of Typhon/fluff/Mal/dLGN/Von.

Very much up for murdering Eco the Corrdorr/Crimson slot because lol two of my co-hosts for my Mafia universe game barely participated here and wound up with a scummy slot. No idea wtf happened but would like it dead sooner rather than later.

 

I guess I have to reread Jan when I get home tonight. But a wagon this fast does not give me the warm fuzzy feelings.

I already explained why Crimson's posts weren't scummy. They were anti-town and objectively bad, but neither of those are strictly alignment indicative. Just indicative of poor play.

If you want to lynch me, tell me why I'm scum, not why some dribbler who couldn't hack it did dumb things.

I can see why this post led to a wagon actually.
The whole thing feels like he's just trying to do stuff when he isn't feeling it, but he did just say that he didn't have anything to say.
Which I thought was townie because I was feeling the same way, but that's pretty weak.

But I don't like the quoted in particular because I don't think townjan would be thinking at all about his lynchability right now.

I assume there's more coming for wagon though.

Well, an exaggerated push based on something minor.
We've been over this.
There was a bunch of votes on typh and we needed to talk about something else.
I stand by that.

Yes, I'm always gonna be suspected.
But watch as I keep not getting lynched.
It's a talent.
It's a more useful talent when I roll scum. I can really demoralize a town that's trying to lynch me.
Vaimes may remember the 3 different days they tried to lynch me in three little pigs. They never recovered.
But it's useful as town too because I don't get nightkilled too often and in the late game I get to look at wagons knowing that I am town and there's flips and stuff to really grab on to.
I need to work on my pocketability, but I'm usually good to help catch a scum or two eventually.

The uncomfortable with jan the whole game thing is a bit odd just as he's getting run up.
