It's certainly possible. Fonti and jan are probably among the best in this game at distancing from their buddies (I'm the best, of course, but I'm town etc)
I haven't looked at the two of them specifically, but I seriously doubt there's anything that clears the other.

Cobalt I don't think is scum with fonti though.
The way he's just always open for her lynch but neither a force behind it for cred nor trying to connect her to someone for after the flip.

 

Then Jan+Cobalt+Eco then. Fonti is town or SK. If Fonti is town then 4th is a bit outside of grasp. If Fonti is SK then thems the games.

I just don't like how Fonti is like probably completely wrong this game.

 

I mean, yeah that's a thing.
The whole point of not lynching her day 1 is because if she's town she's got a super high chance of solving and/or getting nightkilled.
But I'm not seeing any road to her solving since she absolutely refuses to consider new information and has just been pushing the same narrative.

At this point, she has to kill me if she has a shot tonight. I'm town so she'll be minimum 0 for 3. Do you lynch her then? IDK

Cobalt I think is more likely town than fonti.

 

I think Fonti needs a chance to come back and read the thread. If I don't see some gamesolving out of her I'm going to lean SK here and that my reasons tell for Fonti is accurate. And she was intentionally wrong about her reads. The alternative (which honestly I hope for) Fonti is town and we see the stupidity of a D1 no lynch rule for a player.

Yeah no. This is not a thing. Town does not say they will blame a player in the future. Jan and Cobalt are scum.

What he's saying about foxy, that he was bad but that's not scummy, is pretty valid.

I have a fair amount of experience with foxy.
3 sites, 5+ games
But I've also rolled scum in most of our games together and he's been mostly town.

I can see town foxy just not doing anything and replacing out when he didn't like the vibe.
I can see scum foxy doing the same.
He's really scattershot with activity level.
In the westeros game he played (sorry, you can't see it without an account there which is a huge hassle) he just kept not showing up until he was a wagon and then gave this huge stream of conscious high effort thing that whiskeyjack and I townread him for but no one else cared and he got mislynched.
He was scum in a mash I was in and I remember noting for later that he was more lecturey but I'm not gonna go find it.
And I like the way eco is approaching. I need more obviously, but I've been a hydra with him and should have a pretty good handle on his thought processes at this point and so far so good.

Are you seeing anything but foxy's brief time here of being awful?

Regarding Fox:
No it isn't. He had the wherewithal to say it is D1 and then ask who died. That is completely contradictory since he quit during D1. Delphine said he is from a mafia site and has 8000 posts. That's not something a newb does.

That one he asks for "important events". If he knows it's day one then there's no "important events". It's more likely scum trying to pretend to be frustrated til they can formulate a plan and that they like the current gamestate rather than derp!town. Granted this is off of what I see on facts I have not played with Eco but I don't see any town doing this.

I also see a player who may not be happy with how "fast" the mafia games are here. There are more posts on DLP than on another site I play on for games and the windows are shorter.

I don't like the way Eco is approaching things. It feels like he's trying to setup a case and say "I believed it all along" rather than actually push it.

That case I just responded to is what he could come up with when asked point blank why I'm scum.
He should be able to just give a summary like I asked if he's been feeling that way the whole damn game.
Like, I would say:
"Miner cares more about lynching people than solving.
He wants to be read on meta while showing awareness of it.
He doesn't arrive at things organically"

I could go back that up with posts, but that's the crux.

Not really seeing the Miner scumread but I need to not try to process that at 3:30 am before judging it. Maybe tomorrow will come up with something different.

 

Foxy has absolutely played in games with a higher post rate than this. I'd expect his problem being the phases are too long here or the forum software.
But that doesn't matter.
I'm really actively avoiding making a read surrounding the replace out, so it's null and that's my final answer.

Important events can happen day 1. They kind of didn't, and that's why he got no answer. But they could.
I'd assume he wanted any claims or just to point out what we thought was important.
Thug asked me a similar question, but he had enough info to direct the question a little so I knew what he was looking for.

I'd say if foxy was scum he could have got cliffs in scumchat and just been townie. He's certainly capable.
I don't think there's any world where his time in the thread was townie, but again. Pretty null.

Let me just say if he'd been here day 1 I'd have approached him much the same as I did fonti.
He's one of the best players on my homesite and he remains logical and solvey as scum.
But we need to see that solviness either way.
