I mean they keep saying they are gonna do it, though if they do it would have to be the BBC or something, I mean if there was ever a book/show that was tied to its location it is Neverwhere. I would take what I could get, but it would break my heart a little if they transferred it across the pond, however well it was done.

Really hoping this turns out better then the trailer makes it out to be. I want a DC show, showing a little bit of regular people's lives that's better then The Flash

Have started watching Narcos S2. Fuckn brilliant.

Binged on The Night Manager on friday. Liked it a lot - only 6 episodes and a fresh breath of Hugh Laurie! (on a villain role no less).

Watched episode three of The Night Of. Great quality, acting, the works. HBO at its best.

Television keeps getting better and better.

Anyone else watching South Park? Ever since season 19 they've really been upping their game. Tonight's episode had me in stitches, and I can honestly say I'm more interested in where the show is going than probably any other tv show right now.

Is anybody else watching Conviction ? Because while it has its flaws I have to admit I really like it so far - it has an interesting theme (wrongful convictions though I hope they throw some in where the perp is actually guilty) that in my opinion have often been ignored and mixes that with some nice office intrigue (and a lot of tragic backstories for its cast) to keep things fresh.

Eh I think Conviction will last a few seasons but even with Hayley Atwell the dialogue isnt the best and tbh all the office staff having tragic backstories isnt always a good thing.

I know someone who worked near where conviction was filming and got to meet some of them but the premise just seems uninteresting. Does anyone know any solid details about the potential worm/twig shows or movies? Wildbow said they'd be animation.
I'm thinking that even if it goes through it'll probably be a long while from now. Do you think interest would wane?

So the new Dirk Gently show has it's first episode out. Anyone watch it?

Personally can't decide if i like it or not. Barnett is pushing far to much into Smith's Doctor territory for my liking, although unlike Smith he can make me laugh from time to time.

I thought it was a bit crap tbh. Elijah Wood's performance as the baffled sidekick was perhaps the only redeeming aspect.

Just watched Stan against evil and rather liked it.

As you can tell by the title it's a ripoff from Ash vs evil dead, but with all the nerdwank and tryhardness removed. Also John C. McGinley doing a turbocharged Dr. Cox as the ex sheriff is just fun as hell.

Banshee is one of the best tv shows I've watched in a long, long time.

Any thoughts about the upcoming Legion, on FX?

About our friend, the eponymous mutant Legion?

Seasons 1 to 3 just kept building up to ever-increasing heights of insanity, it was great.

Final season was disappointing for me though, felt like the showrunners lost enthusiasm. They didn't help themselves by ending season 3 with three looming threats (Proctor, Nazis, Black Ops) when s4 was getting a shorter episode count, and they compounded the issue by shoving in the murderers.

So, the first episode of Legion was pretty flipping great. FX is putting out really good stuff lately.

I've been looking forward to this since its announcement. Noah Hawley's Fargo is the single best show on television right now, so another show from him could only be bad if it meant that Fargo would be cancelled/ended. But it's not. Legion lived up to my expectations in terms of quality, and kept me guessing about what direction the show would go in until the end. Loved every minute of it up until the action ending, which was much less interesting than all the stuff that came before it.

I can't decide if Snatch looks terrible but great, or just terrible. Then again, I'll almost certainly watch it just for Rupert Grant.

I think the only reason the action sequence stood out was because the rest of the episode was so good. But yeah, hopefully they do much better next time.

Legion was ok. But I get the feeling it's going to be just another mystery box. Than again most people seem to love those kind of shows.

I never even heard they were doing this. Ed Westwick was always my favorite part of Gossip Girl that wasn't Blake Lively's legs.
