This is a depressing statement about fonti's current meta.

You say this as if her meta's shifted? Please elaborate.

    I don't know fonti's current meta.

There was a time when she was obvtown as town.

Later on she got harder to read, but still tended to be active, post lots of reasoning, explain herself.

    Sporadic activity until EOD.

Would prefer we decide on a lynch beforehand because I'm not sure I can be around if it comes to CFD shenanigans.

I agree there's not much movement in Waco's reads or thoughts in response to new information.

Also this post by you is 100% town so that's good.

    Frowning intensifies.

I'm waffling of lynching Von, and kicking myself for checking in on the thread exactly when he got off. Uh, I feel like his Rubicon read is unsubstantiated in a way that I hate, along with reads on basically all his null/scums except me and Miner? And Miner /could/ be scum, which would make Von town, except I have a lot trouble seeing Miner joking around and not trying to live as scum at the end of Day 1, because he really wants to improve his scumplay. But his comment to Lyric about wanting lessons from her makes me think he might be scum because he's thinking about needing lessons?

Then there's Von's opening push on me which just feels wrong. Like, he's expecting me to start hard pushing him when he gets to posting, which he shouldn't be expecting as town, so he's trying to go after me. Except town!Von could genuinely be worried about being a mislynch if he knows he can't be active, but not /that/ worried when he knows he able to project town well. And Jan likes to shoot Von n1, because he knows Von likes it, so I can see Von returning the favor when Jan is already being a town leader and before Jan's read on Von can change.

Also, I want to know why Rubicon's voting, because I think it's for what I saw, but there's a chance he's playing me. So, yes.

Uh. Sticking with my vote on Von.

Not really. The joke is that if Lyric was this good at scum, you'd want to learn from her, which whatever. I think you might only be thinking about that though if you are scum and thinking about the lessons from me.

Also, Von really never explains the read on Rubicon at all. It's just there.

---------- Post automerged at 04:20 PM ---------- Previous post was at 04:19 PM ----------

Also also, this speaks well of Miner, because I think he would be aware of a wagon on me as scum.

Literally the only towny thing fluff has said this game.

---------- Post automerged at 04:25 PM ---------- Previous post was at 04:23 PM ----------

    But why?

I know you have a good read on Von. You know I have a good read on Von. If I were scum and saw you latching on, and he said he was too busy to project town, I might just try to bury him, and I kind of expect the same from you.

Nah. It wasn't even a joke of sorts.

It was me saying "I'm pretty much considering Lyric town forever because if she's scum here my mind would be completely blown, and yes, after the game I'd probably ask for pointers."

It was more to express my opinion on Lyric's towniness than me actually wanting lessons or whatever.

Besides, you know you're my fave. <.<

I've been calling Vaimes mafia since d1.

I'm ok with Miner's joke because I had a similar thought last night.

There's always the risk of underestimating new scum players and getting rolled by them. That happened to me with Xanidel in the game from Atum's signature. But when they flip, I usually look back and say, okay there was a lot of scummy behavior I only ignored because they were new. E.g. Xanidel had no reads.

That's not what's happening with Lyric as far as I can tell.

    Mainly this:

Sure, burying your partner would win you a lot of points with me and with people like Miner who say "if no scum flips by day 3, lynch her." But it doesn't seem like a strategy for long-term success. Could you survive another four days against 8 townies? Would you want to try?

    Bollocks.
Maybe you showed a little more in the MTGS micro, but all the games I've played with you here contained less of your thought process combined than this one.

I think he might be pretty worried if he thinks scumfonti is trying to dunk him.

I'm pretty meh on Vaimes right now. Like, I don't want to lynch him when he can't be here to convince us otherwise. And I think I've only actually scumread him once and he was a spectator with a role at the time. But god would we feel dumb mislynching him becuase he's busy.

Or, I didn't like your whole RVS posts at the start, given it was OoC for you and didn't feel like repeating myself for #188. And frankly, I thought you spent too much time and attention drawing people's attention to your trap. So yes, when I saw some of you push posts I noted them, but they weren't enough to bring you more than null during D1.

Yes, it was weird that I didn't have a strong read on you D1, because you pretty much always play in a way that makes it easy. If I prod on that you might have changed your play to compensate for that, and for the pushes you mentioned on D1, none of the them had the same fire you've unleashed in previous games.

Please go through my past QT's and look when I had Fonti as a town or LT D1. That's why it worth commenting on.

Seriously... it's not even the comment of the Zenzao D1 lynch which was terrible (albeit it's not great since you usually self prove), it was the concept of a compromise lynch halfway through D1, and I don't understand why you don't recognize that.

I also don't love the people on Vaimes right now.

I think I prefer an all town wagon on a null read.

    Vote Waco

    ---------- Post automerged at 15:12 ---------- Previous post was at 15:10 ----------

Consider that vote slightly more forceful for that ninjaed Zenzao shade.

We have ~4 hours until DayEnd. Right now Vaimes' wagon is leading with four votes(Fonti, Rubicon, Quid, Miner). I don't find myself feeling a Vaimes lynch at this moment, and if I have to I'll force myself to re-read him and see if I agree on his scummitude, but for now I'm focused on dealing with Fonti(the Mime sits in a glass box).

Actually refreshed before posting, I see you there Waco and I'll get around to addressing you soon.
