Waco, are you open to a Vaimes lynch?

Also, why haven't your reads changed since mid-d1?

Day ends in 3.5 hours or something like that.

I will not be back until 30 minutes prior to deadline, so if people want to keep unofficial vote counts, go for it.

Rubicon, thought I'd made it clear I was, but would prefer Quiddity, who has done nothing to make me think he was town today, after already being LS yesterday.

My reads haven't been static, but as I haven't had time to do VCA, and didn't get a real feelfor anything from the NK, I'm inclined to trust my gut rather then submit to consensus in spots.

    Currently:
    TWK
    Owner
    Jan

    (T -> S)
    T: Fontisian,
    LT: Zenzao, Lyric,
    Null: Miner, Tom, His Fluffiness,
    LS: Cobalt/dlgn, Vaimes, Rubicon, Quiddity,

There's trusting your gut and then there's ignoring everything that happens in the game. Which is not limited to VCA and night-kills.

For example, several of us think Miner's reaction to his wagon makes him town. Have you considered this angle?

Tom, I'm secretly bussing Von. Don't vote him or my plan will be ruined.

Considered (you might notice he's higher than before), but I don't put as much stock in it as others. Kinda figure after he got nailed and basically scum-claimed D1 a game or so back, Miner would probably react better to getting run up from either alignment, so I don't see it conclusive.

I'm going to the gym for a bit, will be back about 1.5-2 hours before deadline

Don't think I haven't thought about it. If Vaimes is scum and said he wouldn't be around much in scumchat, his partner would almost have to.

Up to her wall posted on D2, there have been some things I dislike and others that, on the surface, appear to be towny behavior. And I'm mildly certain about one of those tells I was looking for, but we'll see after this.

Most of her early stuff is alright. Not saying much, prodding around, getting the ball rolling on Rubicon's wagon. Rubicon made that easy for her. The first mistake comes in her #282.

In retrospect, I don't care for her #316 since, y'know, both were proven town come D2, but that's not really alignment indicative, and is probably shade.

I'm also curious what happened between this,
and her wall that encouraged her to lasso Vaimes' neck? I'm sure I've seen it but I don't remember the progress on that particular front.

I will give her credit for prodding me in her #415 on my reversal w/r/t her/Jan/Rubicon.

Speaking of Jan, I am very curious why he was the one who died lastNight. Early toDay I hypothesized that he was on the right track when he died, but now I'm not sure I believe that so much as he was killed to prevent him from putting things together later in the game once owner flipped and he'd had to analyze things over.

One example of that is here,
    #417.

Note to self: Find where his last wall post was and compare. Think I was in his bottom four at D1 DayEnd.

I'm still curious why you freaked out so badly on the third line? Getting flashbacks to Mimefia?

Take a look at this Vaimes' post, where he was talking about Fonti though mistakenly pinged me for it,
The second half he was answering owner's #400.

I'd agree that initially Fonti was low-impact. But as D1 proceeded she pushed quite hard on Rubicon, and off the top of my head, I'd view this as a pretty good reason for her to push on Vaimes toDay following Jan's NK.

Then we get into a bit of deja vu for me stemming back to Mimefia.

To this point: She thinks Jan is town, Rubicon is scum, Vaimes is prob-town, I'm scummy, Miner might be scummy. No one else stands out.

A little later she gets chatting with Waco and posts,
but is it really so out of my meta behavior to fake? Especially since I conned scum!you in our last game together quite hard? Surely you haven't forgotten that I post my walls in reverse-order this game.

Her #627 and #629 with owner(and Miner to a degree) comes off towny on the surface. Scum love being able to push posts like this and reaping town credit, because being truthful on the surface always looks good in hindsight come D3 or D4.

On the fence with this, because I can see a couple of flaws straight off; a. this leaves her alignment in the dark and if she did not put her ass in gear to respond, she would have likely remained on the chopping block for D2 akin to HP Mafia, and b. this could have lead to a No Lynch if the votes swung much more between the wagons, effectively leaving the only alignment gained D1 down to the NK N1 instead. As it was votes were already leaping back and forth between Rubicon and owner and it came too damn close.

Speaking of DayEnd D1, Jan was the eighth vote on owner to cement the lynch, while Fonti and Waco and owner were on Rubicon. Earlier in the process Jan sat between Fonti and Waco.
Doesn't look good for VCA down the road, both scum being on the same (failed) wagon.

Summary: Fonti starts off null, has some banter with owner, Waco, Rubicon, town-sides Vaimes to DayEnd, tries exceptionally hard to push a Rubicon lynch from mid-D1 to DayEnd.

My head may not be as strongly in the game for this as for my rundown on Waco, and I admit that more of it is probably shade than steel, but I am not happy with Fonti right now.

Enter D2. Rather than continue to push on Rubicon, she turns to Cobalt, an absent-slot. She also 180's on Vaimes as far as I can tell, with the same excuse of him being absent.

    Let's go down her wall,
From Waco to Vaimes is bad reasoning. If her word on Cobalt is to be trusted, then maybe, but it still reeks given his absence.

The remainder of her posts that I'm looking at are building a narrative to lynch Vaimes, justify her wall, her placement of Rubicon. I agree with Rubicon's #940, she isn't pushing to get her lynches through here like she was yesterDay up until her overdrive on Vaimes. Her #947 third line seems to contradict her wall statement on Rubicon.

She goes after Vaimes head as soon as he gets into the game toDay.

Her #965 rings familiar re-meta changing.

The only semi-decent post I've seen to this point is in response to Lyric's #968, Fonti's #969.

I also find this post to be laughable,
Really? All of the above is the least you've shown of your thought process?

If her #1029 was supposed to be convincing, it isn't.

That's as much as I've got. I don't trust her.

Zen, your questions and assumptions are so off base I'm tempted to not bother responding.

By the by, don't forget to debunk your alliance with Waco, seeing as he conveniently avoided addressing that.

    Fontisian (2): Vaimes, His Fluffiness
The Waco Kid (2): Lyric, Zenzao, Tom(#1037)
    Quiddity (1): The Waco Kid

    Abstaining (1): DLGN

With 11 alive, 6 is soft lynch, and 9 is hard lynch.

Day Ends in 1.39 Hours - Timer

Would you disagree that she favored your neck in a noose for most of D1?

And that should have been (3) on Waco, whatever. We need six votes on a wagon by DayEnd.

    Sigh. Here we go.
This was a joke, not a real post, about how Miner had made a sarcastic post calling owner and jan mafia, among others, and people weren't leaving him alone about it.

I liked that Von voted for Rubicon just after the post that gave me my initial scumread on Rubicon. Then Von fell off a cliff.

If he plays the game and still isn't townie, then we can talk.
