Towny for Tom. I don't think he'd want Rubicon talking more about his Von read as Von's partner.

    I'll stay on to lynch.

Fonti, what difference do you normally see between scum! and vill!tom?

Because I don't have any meta there, and he's strong town for me.

I have no concrete way to address this.

For my part, the way he pushed my lynch Day 1 felt very towny.

Ohhh I think this is where I put Rubicon+Waco together.

So like... if you go look at this post in context, try to determine what Rubicon was responding to with the opening of "everything Lyric did right you did wrong"

Quiddity had not posted recently, so I didn't think it was a late response to him. Plus the last bit about only liking one part of Waco's wall supported that it was in fact a direct response to Waco.

Under that assumption, it was really weird to me that it was a pretty flat/harsh response to Waco BUT a vote on quiddity, someone I generally townread. It kinda read to me as a distancing interaction while kind of maintaining a push on a town ahead of the partner, even finding something to like from him.

Up to this point Waco hadn't really posted much. I'm kinda torn about the preceding post #499 from Waco. On the surface it looks kinda towny because it has a lot of opinions and seems kinda... internally consistent. It kind of avoids von, though - it agrees with one of his reads and finds one push on him 'opportunistic' from Rubicon, when Rubicon actually had quite a measured progression on von, calling several of his posts scummy, asking for opinions, stating he had a case made up, voting, analyzing the current vote.... idk, that's a pretty bad assessment of the rubicon/von situation, imo.

I probably started reading Waco posts with some serious confirmation bias that he was scum after this point, tbh.

Fine, you can lynch Waco if this doesn't work.

    Have fun and all that.

I can see that I'm dying here, so I just want to say take a close look at tom and Waco tomorrow.

Also, don't just blindly trust fontisian, cause she doesn't have the best of reads.

    See y'all after the game.

I'm just saying that fluff's play today makes no sense as mafia, so he's probably town.

I can be wrong, but it's more likely Waco imo.

Shouldn't you have voted Von then?

    Otherwise, okay.

You do realize I subbed into this slot with mere hours until EOD D2 and so yes, I was skimming, and your posts looked generally effortful.

Technically, I townread you before that when I was still reading them closely, when you did some sort of cipher hidden message thingy or whatever you did, quoting your past posts to expand about what you were thinking/referring to at the time... I forget what exactly you did but it was silly and really fancy and I thought it was probably not from scum.

So then, yeah, when your posts only got longer and you started quoting like 40 post numbers in some of them, I kinda just assumed you were town and skipped them so I could catch up before the day ended.

Yeah I also read the avatar mixup as probably clearing zen as well.

As mentioned earlier, I don't think the Lyric kill came from Zenzao.

Otherwise, three motivations as I see them:
    1. Get rid of strong townreads - no material difference between fonti and Lyric
    2. Lyric is on the right track
    3. Fonti is on the wrong

    3. indicates away from Rubicon, on first pass.

    Fonti, I don't understand this

Like, at this point the kill list is pretty obvious (even if the order is not), so I don't think that's a reasoning for choosing Lyric over you.

Fair enough, and yes, I'd forgotten how little time you had when you subbed in for Cobalt.

Since ciphers and the like are against the rules of the game, I did my best to ensure that the RVS thing was just lying to test TMI on Lyric's part, and made some assumptions from it about other players that maybe were incorrect on top of that. The nearest thing was about thinking Miner was scummy via the weather.

    3. also indicates away from HF, although that's now moot. Gah.

I'm around, but fonti's latest posts removed much of the lingering doubt I had about the fluff lynch.

If we're talking about kills clearing people, letting fonti live last night clears miner 100%

I might have already said that.
