I highly doubt everyone will bid $500 on Hitman x2.

You propose to the town that some people should split bids 200/300 and others should save their money while still others should bid 500 on tier one items because you think you're clever and you think this will confuse the mafias.

You shake your head sadly because you are sad that Waco does not have Fattening foods to sustain him through the long hard days.

Too easy my friend, too easy. I'm accepting Font's townleaning Miner at face value. Miner can be town for now. The rest of y'all aren't anything yet.

Awesome, there are a lot of people here. On my phone, but I'll probably make it to my computer before I go to bed.

For now, though, let's talk about electing a marketplace owner - there are 2 important factors to consider, those being
    1. Willingness to actually listen to/stick with a plan
    2. Towniness

A distant third is the ability to see the game clearly (identify people who are town), but so long as the player has the first quality, they're as good at this as the best living player, so shrug.

Given the above, I'd advise being very fluid with your votes here. Unless the top town player at EOD1 is inclined to being recalcitrant or fontisian/Newcomb, they should probably be the marketplace owner. Locking in earlier (mentally, by all means vote) just favors a ballsy scum play to grab the position.

Hrm. I actually sort of like fontisian's tone here.

Should we be bidding $500 on things at this point in the game? Isn't there value in saving our money for later days?

One imagines the mafia need to be even more careful since they collectively have way less money than town.

Think this is asking if I'd neighborize you if I win that power. The honest answer is no. I'd neighborize either fontisian or Newcomb, depending on towniness from each.

Who would you neighborize? (Hint: if you use my answer, I'll need to see a reason to go with it.)

Tempted to go with Waco for lulz, but it would be my top townread at the time, unless the townread is consensus cos then they might die.

Don't love this, a) given Vira's correction of it but 2) The Doc def has big value, because it's not like you have to use it immediately. If scum do get the hitman they still have to worry about town doc's presence the whole game over when to use the hitman power
