    That's one of the options?
As in, you wouldn't vote alongside Rubicon if you think he's scum unless you think scum Rubicon had a terribad plan. If you think Rubicon is at least null (this also includes town), then you're logically consistent on that point.

The point doesn't actually apply to you because you're hard townreading him. I disagree with your view, but these things happen.

Would be down for a Cobalt lynch, obviously.

To be honest we're at the point where we have two or three lynch prospects, and we're waiting on flips before we can move forward in the game.

I would suggest just deciding and hammering, because this lethargy is really killing interest in the game, but I do want to give replacements time to catch up. Thoughts?

Oh wait, we can't hammer nvm.

So like you don't even understand how busy I am I have class and work all week and have to balance a tax appointment and dry cleaning my suit because I also have to pack for an 8 day long trip to D.C. for speech and debate nationals and I asked for a replacement but was apparently asked to hang in there if possible but it isn't possible so I'm gonna ask aaagain but this is it so bye

If you wanna lynch me you'll be lynching town. Peace out.

I actually think Koalas' reaction on the last page is pretty town.

Nah. Cobalt is mafia, no Tom spew needed.

Town-Koalas has this general attitude of eye-rolling disdain toward people he thinks are scum or pressuring him for bad reasons.

If anyone shoots Tammy tonight, they're anti-fun and should be ashamed of themselves.

    Awesome.

Here's where I'm at - I understand wanting to frustration lynch Cobalt. But let's walk through what happens if we do that.:

-He flips scum - I'm still going to tinfoil Rubicon a little bit and I encourage people not to write him off as lock town because there are worlds where it makes sense with scum!Cobalt, but I'll move on from Rubicon. We then look at a pool of Wacomomma, fontammy, Koalas, Miner, fluff, and maybe Vira in no particular order.

-The other world is where Cobalt townflips, which is probably going to make me tunnel the fuck out of Rubicon if I don't die. This could be fine if I'm right and it really is Rubicon/Wacomomma, or Rubicon/someone reasonable, because we'd only have wasted one mislynch and we'd only need to find one more scum. If Rubicon isn't scum, then I'm going to chase him off a cliff after I confirm in my head with Cobalt's flip that I'm right, and we'll have wasted two mislynches with two scum left to find. That's almost gamethrowing.

    Now, let's consider lynching Rubicon:

He flips scum - children dance and sing, I am pleased with my contribution to this game, we look real damn hard at Wacomomma tomorrow and Koalas is probably town.

The other scenario is Rubicon town flips. Take the inverse of pretty much all of the above. With exception of Wacomomma's alignment - that could go either way still, and be shouldn't be forgotten even with a Rubicon townflip. I reset my head and start over from scratch, we look hard at Koalas.

I guess my point is this - there's a possibility that Cobalt might resolve himself (although that feels slim after his most recent post), and he is objectively less informative as a lynch (especially if he's a mislynch) regardless. Also, the risk of shit going really bad is higher with lynching Cobalt. That's partially a selfish assessment, because it's all in relation to my view of the game, but honestly in a D2 where only Rubicon, Jarizok, and I have provided much in the way of attempts to solve and/or thoughts more or less at all, I'm pretty much thinking of myself first because what else is there to do (this not aimed at Nacho and Tammy - you guys replaced in recently and/or were upfront about being busy and when you could work on the game properly).

I still really don't want to engage with you but I need to talk to somebody. Can you link me to your case on this, if you've made one? The thrust of what I read from you earlier seemed to be based on Tom interactions?

Cobalt's reasoning about his role is BS. It makes zero sense.

He hasn't done a single town thing for the entire game.

And -- this part is my opinion, I know nacho at least disagrees -- I think he spewed Tom scum, which is way more reliable than the other way around.

Right, but bad=!scum. Cobalt has been bad, Cobalt has not been scum. He hasn't been town either, to be clear. He hasn't been anything.

That's not scummy when the player is literally absent, it's null. When the player is present and that applies, /then/ it's scummy, but this is not that situation.

I honestly don't think scum!Cobalt just straight up peaces out without voting you. Like obviously he doesn't give a shit about this game, but I don't think he's the sort of person who would come back, drop a post, and peace without voting. Like, if he was accepting his loss, he'd just not come back.

The only scenario that it makes sense with is if his partner was the other wagon. I don't actually think you guys are partners, though, so yeah.

Cobalt not doing a single towny thing isn't as alignment indicative as you think it is Rubicon. Just saying.

And fair enough. This can't possibly go anywhere productive, so I think we can probably just leave it there.

    Kay you are town.

I don't think the thought of ending the day early etc is something scum!you would have or dare to propose.
Esp considering that a game that is slowed down a lot and almost dead is good for scum and not for town.
