Persona 5 coming to NA on Feb 14.

 

While I guess I'm disappointed I don't get it this year I suspected that would be the case and this is the best possible release date <3

Plus this means that I have time to beat Golden and take a long break between games

Resist the temptation... RESIST! Although how you would do so while acquiring your 'cheat sheet ready on how to best woo my waifu' is something of which I am unsure.

 

It's mostly in reference to min maxing in the limited time frame. When to do what, missable events etc.

 

So I pre-ordered the Take Your Heart Collector's Edition of Persona 5 today.

I love artbooks, every bit of music we've heard so far has been outstanding, and I could use a bag for carrying just my laptop and a notebook or two instead of carrying around a backpack, so this is perfect. Oh and Morgana will live on my computer and keep me company forever <3

Steelbooks are pretty too.

There seems to be a swimsuit one too, obviously.

I'm staying away from reviews and the like, but it seemingly sold 500k in the first week in Japan. That's huge for a console game.

 

One of the good things about FF being delayed was sales for Persona went through the roof, and staying away from reviews that spoil anything, all comments are saying that it's fantastic.

Can't wait for 2017.

 

I can't imagine a world where JRPG fans wouldn't buy both anyway.

Regardless, also can't wait!

So I heard there were Persona 5 PS4 themes on PSN

Japanese PSN only because obviously it's not out here yet.

So, like any sane person would do, I made a Japanese PSN account, bought 1000 Y of credit from Play Asia, and bought the Protag, Ann, Morgana, Sakura and Makoto themes for 200Y each...

I hate work so fucking much.

Got home last night, played for 8 hours until i had to sleep, lol. If I didn't operate heavy machinery, I probably would have stayed up much later...

Love everything so far. While a lot is insinuated, this one is much darker in tone than p4g so far.

I hate the Shadow Negotiation system. That's my only critique. Everything else is brilliant (I'm not a huge fan of turn based combat, but whatever).

Had my first rage quit.

Me: Really need to find a new safe zone, been like 40 minutes.

Next battle my whole team got wiped in one attack and had to go all the way back. I like not being able to save at any point tbf, I just fucked up.

Morgana praising whoever does the finishing blow is sorta starting to really irritate me haha, the game is an absolute gem though.

I haven't talked to the spoiler character yet, but I do like Takemi.

 

So far best girl is Makoto for me, haven't even got her in the squad yet so hopefully that happens soon.

The game started ridiculously slow which is probably my only complaint, it is starting to speed up now though.
