The death of Brave Sir Newcomb had phased people even less than that of Eidolonic, it could have been due to them being more aquainted with death or that Newcomb was just a cheap knock off of Eidolonic but either way it was time to find the killers and win some items. They'd designated Cobalt as the group scribe, it was his job to cross off peoples names when they'd promised it wasn't them who'd commited the murders, unfortunately this hadn't been an effective strategy. People started growing rather suspicous of Cobalt, "He's holding a pen to cross people off the list and that's what the killer did with Eidolonics note" someone loudly proclaimed. This wasn't untrue and sounded like as good a reason as any to kill someone over; Cobalt was surrounded with people taking turns butchering Beyonce songs. "Wait didn't we tell him to use the pen" someone said, but it was too late.

Cobalt was lynched, he was a Vanilla Townie.

It is now Night Two which will end in ~24 hours.

The second night was drawing to a close and there was still two murderers out there, this hadn't worried Miner who had gone off on his own to rehearse his one man rendition of The Sound of Music he'd used to revenue his Auction addiction. *Miner says so long, farewell, auf wiedersehen, good night. I hate to go and leave this pretty sight*. "Goodnight" muttered an anonymous voice before suffocating Miner with a curtain and sneaking off.

Miner, the Vanilla Townie died during night two.

Let’s examine a world where Rubicon is town.

It’s near the end of D2. The two remaining scum are in their hideout, watching the flames consume the town out a window. ‘Scum rulez’ and ‘town are losers’ are spray-painted on the walls. A portrait of Donald J. Trump hangs above the fireplace. With it is a plaque that reads:

‘The Legalization of Alternative Facts.’

“Hey. Hey B,” Scum A says. “What do we do?”

Two people run out of a burning building, a third waving her hands from the top floor. A trampoline sits next to the two people. They don’t notice it. The third eventually jumps from the window and hits the ground like wet concreate. She doesn’t get up, but she’s probably okay.

“We do what we do every night, A,” Scum B replies. “We-” They hesitate.

Scum A continues, “I was just thinking we should lynch Rubicon.”

“Why Rubicon?”

“Well, we’re the swing votes. If we lynch Rubicon, that takes the sails out of the game. It’ll grind to a halt. Rubicon is also a dangerous player. We’ve been lucky ‘till now, but we can’t rely on that forever. Then, once we kill Typhon in the night, we basically win. There’s no one else to take up the reins of town. And anyways, we can lynch Vira, Kalas, or Miner on the ‘morrow, though in this world you’re probably Kalas. Easy lynches, easy game. Look at all those people running! Don’t they look like people who will vote elsewhere at the last minute in a panic? What assholes.”

“Nah.” Scum B who is probably Kalas waves a hand, annoyed. You don’t bring names into the secret clubhouse. “I have a better idea.”

“What?”

“Let’s lynch Cobalt because he’s doing nothing.”

“But Rubicon is the better player-”

“Shh, A, this plan is perfect.”

This conversation NEVER happens. No scum would ever choose to get rid of Cobalt over Rubicon. Not when you have four people that can be easily turned into mislynches.

Oh, but I know your little scummy hearts are saying, “It’s a psyche out! Scum chose Cobalt to die so Rubicon would be the next mislynch!”

What a nice and harmless theory. It’s okay, climate change isn’t a thing either.

The problem is that level of thinking requires a pair of idiot scums who are overthinking the entire situation and making grand plans under the assumption that, I dunno, Rubicon is an idiot who will stand in front of a gun willingly. I’m not on the scum team, so this world wouldn’t happen.

Instead, let’s examine a world where Rubicon is scum. It is a familiar world. It is ours, big and blue and stupid.

The end of D2 was a traffic jam of stupidity. It was a see-saw that could swing either way and did so multiple times within the last minute. The situation was so precarious, the third scum couldn’t be on Rubicon’s wagon because there was a huge chance they could swing their partner off a cliff.

Therefore, Typhon and Kalas are confirmed town. Jan is bad and needs a time out. Jari used to be the bad kid in the class, but next to these people, he is an angel. Fluff is barely playing. I buy Tammy/Font being scum than Fluff or Jari. Nacho is bad.

Scum threw their money in a ditch. If they only bought Hitman x2 and Cop x1, they should each have $300.

Things - Rubicon was really really close to dying and barely did until I switched in the last second.

At the point where I changed my vote the auctions where already done.

This means there is a very very high chance that scum!Rubicon is the one who bought the 2x cop.

We do not want anyone who won the auction detective to out (gives scum infos about money), but every sane detective would have checked Rubicon last night.

The auction detective can feel free to out IF Rubicon DID NOT buy the 1x cop.

If Rubicon did buy the cop he is outted mafia and will just die today.


There is a small chance that scum bought both of the detectives, but in that case they have very little money left in their wallet and we should be able to just buy everything today and tomorrow.

 

Awesome, that's the way a birthday should go.

Koalas allegedly got hitman x2 for 499. If true, they still have an outbid remaining. All further comments are <redacted>.
