I am scum with nacho and right after you get townread for not buying the 1× cop I will try to kill him.
That is my way of distancing and creating a game with too many towns that I have to win afterwards against 2x watcher and 2x tracker.

I decided to make the game as hard as I could because I am a huge moron.

 

Well, obviously Rubicon is going to try to sell that I'm alive because I'm wrong, to make you guys wonder if I'm leading you off a cliff.

I assumed that meant either Jan would die for being widely townread and because his will, so to speak, was not very clear, or I'd die anyway - that world is more likely with either Nacho/Tammy as a partner, because I'm sure Rubicon would try to sell it as wifom there but he'd probably go down.

When I saw that it was Miner, I assumed doc dodge, but it's looking fairly clear at this point that that was probably only half of it - he's also making a move to try and bring Jan back into the lynch pool.

 

I don't think Jan would be in the lynch pool even with Miner dying? I think it's just a doc dodge.

 

I would, however, like to see more from Jan today. Pretty certain he's town still, but yeah.

I am more or less assuming I'm going to be lynched today, but that doesn't mean town has to lose, so I'll continue scumhunting.

Jan, what is your experience with Nacho? Is this your first time playing together or have you played often?

 

I think we played Teen Wolf mafia together, which was like .. more than a year ago and I don't think we interacted once in the game. (30+ people in the game and he was not that active). Unless i am confusing him with someone.

I don't really know any of the two subs, just heard the names.

You could say we are not w/w, but you made a point to say we are v/w, which means we can't be v/v either.

Miner was pretty widely townread but wasn't really pushing much of anything. He was unlikely to be saved and killing him doesn't give town any information to work with, so just a solid kill for scum.

The challenge is going to be finding the other scum, since I doubt it's Rubi, it could even be Jan or Typhon being all sneaky, but this is where Items are going to come in somewhere.

There's only 1 outbid left for scum at best for them, so having Tracker and Watcher both up for bid today and no counters out there is really quite nice.

Ima dive in to D2 analysis now, see if I can shake some of the gut out of my current list and make a list based on arguments and stuff.

On the Miner kill, it's possible scum thought he's the kind of guy to bid 300 on Doctor. I would have to concur. Of course, since I totes got it they would have been wrong, but I could see them considering it.

Koalas drops the bomb that he got double Hitman in the day opener.
If town, he does this to inform town and to make himself a less attractive NK, after all, he doesn't have a useful role and no money to get one. Good reasons.

Why would maf!Koalas throw this out there? He's not widely townread so it's not like people would be surprised he wasn't NKed without this post out there. He also wasn't under much suspicion yet, so there's really no reason to put himself in the limelight like this yo get himself semi-cleared. The timing was checked by Jan and was apparently satisfactory. I was townreading Koalas D1 already, so I'll bump him to towncircle unless I come across something that makes me reconsider.

This might just be a gut reaction, but it's definately cheap shade, as Koalas counters as well.


I'm not going to quote the entire Typhon case, but a couple a things to talk about:
- I read Rubi's careful and distant approach as his style, rather than scummy. I'm not familiar enough with him to maintain that at this point.
- "When I stop pushing, he stops talking about it" Typhon opened up the day with this, and Rubi carried D2 conversation as a response. Will get back to it at the end of my post when we can consider exactly what Rubi did D2.

Vira completely sheeps Typhon, if my memory serves me this continues through the day. It's a bit too obvious to serve as a good scum tactic, but then, Typhon points in the VA it's between Rubi, Fluff and Vira for the bad spots.

Just putting this in here in case we get a Rubi flip. There's really no prompt for Rubi to build a town!Waco case anywhere, so this is weird, rereading with an eye out for possible scum!Rubi.

This is interesting, as I do not feel Koalas was all that close to being lynched.


Typhon and Jan make cases on Vira being cleared by association. Rubi interactions, tom spew, etcetera. My doubts about this from D1 have returned.

I don't agree with this either. Scum!Vira could totally make that post there.

Dingdingding, the clincher here on the reread. I totally missed this the first time yesterday and I don't recall anyone mentioning this yesterday, but tom/Waco/Rubi makes a lot of sense with this post. How can you people scumreading Rubi have missed this?

Nacho has had very little time in thread to make an impact, but he spends most of it defending Rubi against Typhon. This makes little sense to me. If you just get into the thread and you see the thread isn't about to lynch your slot, you take your time rereading so you can join in the next day. Instead Nacho gets into the thick of things to defend one particular person from getting lynched:

Here's my plan, as of this morning.

I'm about to do a full reread and try to come up with currentish assessments on everyone. This includes D2 Votal Analysis, the works.

If those things point at other people than those who I currently suspect, then we'll talk about why and we'll see if we can swing the lynch to the right place today. If they point at the people I do suspect, I'll indicate that and then I'm probably going to back out of the thread at least partially for my sanity. I'll still scan it, and I'll still answer questions, but yeah.

Expect some walls in my normal laborious style in the next 12 or so hours.

 

As a general heads up this is the last day of classes for me, so I've got an essay to bang out and.. a weeks amount of sleep to catch up on. I'll be around superficially today but I'll be ready to give this my full attention tomorrow.

 

Fonti and I agreed on our reads D2. That never happens.

Why do you think there is scum within the people that tried to fight for you at EoD?

It is strictly worse for scum to not just lynch you first and take your legacy to get the misslynch on Cobalt.
I really have trouble to follow your thought process as town here.

If you are town and did not buy the cop and there is proof of a 500$ bid on your part that god outbid by a 501$ bit then you are somewhat clear (at least for a long while).
Cobalt on the other hand was a dead slot that could have been strung up at any point of the game.
And yes you could argue a cobalt replacement might change up the game, but would you argue that an unknown Cobalt replacement is a bigger problem than a living/breathing cleared Rubicon for scum?

 

Popping back in to say that I still haven't made it to a point where I have looked at the things that make Rubicon scummy to me besides positioning yet with fresh eyes, but from pure VCA I'm almost 100% certain it's Rubicon/Wacomamma. Not impossible that it could be Tammy instead of Wacomamma, but this is pretty stark.
