Loving that Thor trailer. The new cast additions should be great, although given how much they apparently need to cover in the film, I do wonder how much screen time, say, Jeff Goldblum is actually going to have.

 

Since I don't expect there to be a World War Hulk, maybe they are trying to combine the ending of Thor 3 with GOTG 2 to set the stage for Infinity War. Get Banner to hitch a ride with the Guardians since Thor will have to deal with Hela on Asgard.

That said I'm very curious how they actually got the Hulk on that planet.

 

The Director also did What We Do in the Shadows and Hunt for the Wilderpeople. I have faith in his comic sensibilities.

But man, Karl Urban is the manliest man in film. Doomguy, Dredd, now Skurge? Hell yeah.

 

So ... didn't Thor 2 end with Odin dead and Loki impersonating him? That'll have to be resolved somehow, no?

 

I don't think it was ever made clear, actually. Possible that Loki quietly "retired" him.

 

Ambiguous. Thor knows Loki is alive, and they went to Earth to search for Odin. What level of deception Loki is weaving on things is unknown.

Also, the moment when she destroys Mjolnir is pretty impressive, I guess she's strong af.

 

If she did that with pure strength that'll be lame as fuck.

 

To be honest, she probably has one of the Infinity Stones.

Well, if it is one, it's the Soul Gem, which is the last one. All others have made an appearance already.

Also, people are theorizing that Hela is the MCU's version of Death which Thanos has fallen in love with.

 

There are supposed to be 6 of those, right? Tesseract went back to Asgard in Avengers, Vision has one, Strange presumably has access to another, Del Toro has the red thing from Thor 2 (?), the planet govt from GOTG has the purple one...

That would make five, unless I'm unaware of some Marvel lore.

 

Five, yes. One for each finger of the Infinity Gauntlet.

Edit: and yes, Strange has access to the Time Stone, which he knows as the Eye of Agamotto.
