So today was the nerf day.

Logged in queued into 3 aggro warriors in a row and logged out.

This game is still fucked, maybe when the xpac hits it will be worth checking it out again.

Hearthpwn datamined the 7.1 patch and found this:

    [IMGUR]n6Co9Kk[/IMGUR]

Maybe Team 5 could have upped the arcane dust amount to 400 but overall the daily reward isn't bad at all.

Aggrogue and aggro shaman were hit hardest by the StB and SClaw nerf, which was an indirect buff to pirate warrior because they can't use those cards against it now.

On the plus side, Pirate Warrior only goes face, unlike Rogue and Shaman which can play the value/board control game. Means they're easy to tech against.

Tempo mage and Jade Rogue are rather fun, so far.

Pirates are still around, but at least they're mostly warrior instead of shaman. I prefer dealing with face warriors over aggro shaman.

We get a Un'Goro pack as a reward for this week's Tavern Brawl.

Also the card reveal livestream is 11 a.m. PDT on Friday.

    I. Fucking. Love. Deathrattle. Quest. Rogue.

At least until the new tier 1 deck ruins everything.

Super helps everyone is playing quests decks, which are inherently slower. I'm scared of elemental shaman rolling over everyone though eventually.

How the hell is it that Aggro hunter of all the god damn things best left to abyss of nerfdom has made a comback >.<

I was wary coming into the expac, but the actual experience is less scary than reality. There are enough anti aggro cards to cope, I think, if it becomes too prevalent.

In the current 'fill your deck with 1-drops' incarnation, it's relatively slow (because every deck with a quest is), and they can easily draw into shitty 1-drops and run out of steam after Carnassa.

Fear decks without quests. Ele shaman, aggro token druid, pirate warrior etc.

Tried out most of the quests. Although the mage and rogue are pretty good, they are a bit unreliable.

The best deck, that I can stand to play, right now feels like Miracle rogue with the petals. Mimic pod questings ftw.

Been hovering around rank three for the last couple days, tilting into doing stupid egg druid games. @_@

Gotta say, warrior quest seems pretty good. I think it's one of the ones that, with proper refinement, will become really powerful. Once the user, as a control player, learns how to counter the opposing decks I think it'll just get better.

Taunt Warrior is fun, though I'm currently playing a spot of aggro hunter because my neck of the ladder (15-ish) is infested with sodding Crystal Core rogues. Maybe a 60-40 for me, but the games are quick if nothing else.

Having a ton of fun with Quest Rogue (which is probably way due a nerf, as the quest is much too easy to complete unless wrecked by draw).

Decided to play some zoo today. 4 taunt warriors in a row. Though: Fine if it's nothing but that shitty deck at this level, I'm gonna play quest mage. 2 pirate warriors straight into 2 aggro hunters. I swear to jeebus Blizzard is fixing the damn matchups so that I lose, just because I have never bought a single pack from them.

Curious how you're building the quest mage. Found I'm actually doing pretty well against aggro. Midrange is hard though, unless you draw well.

The Antonidas/elemental version is stronger vs taunts and midrange imo, while the arcane giant version is basically regular freeze mage with only 3 combo pieces, so it's way more consistent and all about stall, so it works well against aggro. You get fucked by taunt though.

Hmm, just made an arena deck with 4 legendaries. Malygos, Deathwing, Solja and Sogos. It's pretty top heavy, but if I can get to the lategame... :p

Try teching in glacial shards against pirates if you're getting them a lot. If it's flood hunter/murloc, maybe volcanic potion and tolvir wardens /tar dudes

I opened Kalimos, Primal Lord from a arena pack reward on Monday.

    [IMGUR]ceOBbDH[/IMGUR]

I finally crafted the few remaining cards for the elemental deck sans Bloodmage Thalnos and Al'Akir the Windlord. I'm currently 4-0 with the deck. 1 quest rogue and 3 mages (tempo, quest, quest feat. Yogg-Saron.) The deck is fun to play and being able to double Kalimos is just nasty.

I have had the most hellish week, and it's not going to get better.

But stupid video games still exist and they can bring joy.

God damn I worked for this one.

The final boss was a Freeze Mage, and nothing can express the clenching that occurs when your opponent Alexstrazsas your face and you're just going ".. Does he have it? Please don't have it."

And then he fireballs one of your minions, and the game is locked, and damn that was fun.
