Yeah, I'll contact you once I've figured things out. DLP will definitely participate, just a matter of pulling the trigger on whether or not I can play in the WC/Finals game with the Wedding/Honeymoon potential overlap.

Katie doesn't mind me playing mafia in general, but I think she might object while we're visiting <redacted>.

Currently leaning towards playing, but having 1-2 dedicated possible replacements following along and ready to step in at any time for me.

I'm incredibly flattered, but my confidence in my play and my health are both in a bad spot for this right now. If this happens again next year and those things are resolved and people are still interested in me, then I'd be more than happy to accept - I think the whole thing is super interesting.

I think Eido/Vaimes/Proph/Rubicon/Delphine are all good choices. Rubicon is probably the most DLP based of that group which speaks to the "cross-pollination" aspect, although idk how interested he'd be in the spot given the time investment, etc.

I assumed that this would be relevant here.

 

Both Newcomb and myself will play in the Season 3 Wildcard reunion game that shoudl start early next week on Mafiauniverse.

Just in case people want to follow that game or maybe even replace in if needed.

I am pretty sure 1-3 people on dlp are already possible replacements because that game should be a lot of fun!

The only reason I didn't bring up Rubicon and Typhon initially (and Citrus) up in the first place is that I didn't forsee them ever saying they weren't too busy :b. Would be happy to see any/all of them someday.

I've enjoyed following the championships the past couple of years and finding different sites to flit around to from it. Would prefer to spectate than play this year/in general but I'd be willing to be an alternate.

 

I'm assuming there's a reason noone has nominated Jan to rep DLP at the championship?

Newcomb and I played last year. Fonti the year before.

I think I could play in theory, but I don't feel like doing so back to back.

The initial game was honestly a special kind of horror, with a third of the game either refusing to actually play the game or being capable of playing the game.
Pretty sure I got unlucky with my game and some of the players in it, but something like that can happen in those first round games.

The wildcard game was one of the highest quality games I have ever played on the other hand.

 

Well, we've got Eido and Waco for now, we should be good.
