Regfan might be a witch at this point, but not dying today so the vote is pretty useless, yes.

Would have voted Miner when I got up, but that is pretty pointless at this point.

Right now I am looking at where to go next.

Most likely between Rubicon, Fluffi and Owner, but have to reread a bit before I do that.

    ---------- Post automerged at 15:52 ---------- Previous post was at 15:48 ----------

The point is that if owner is scum here then the partners are very likely to bus because of the counterwagon.

Regfan is almost never a viable counterwagon in this situation. At least not to owner.

You just kill every bit of wagon logic that you could get with a 2nd wagon like that.

Rather have only one wagon than those two.

Miner [6]: Fontisian, Regfan, Cobalt, Rubicon, Vira, Vaimes

Not so much about pure deconstruction of the wagon.
It was not a lynchwagon just yet.

People are not wrong that there is a good chance of 3+ scum being offwagon.
It is easy to stay offwagon in a situation like that.

We were not at a point where people commited hard and had to decide between two wagons.

Yes .. looking at the people and their reasons is a good way to go at it.

Fonti is town or scum with the gravedigger or the apprentice. (who picked gravedigger).
The way she pursued the lynch only makes a lot of sense as scum if she can construct the follow up worlds in the way she wants them to be.

Which means either killing gd n1 or having the gd as her partner.

    Regfan can go either way.

Cobalt has done nothing that inspired me in the greatness of his work, but I only slightly skimmed over it and felt a lot of his comment were rather pointless.
His vote was a sheepvote, which means nothing (or not a lot)
The fact that he thought for a while that he was voting for someone else (Rubicon?) would only make him unaligned with miner, which is pontless.

    Vira and Vaimes are town.

Have to take a look at Rubicon again .. he was flying somewhat under the radar on that wagon.
And he had the sweet scumspot.

Likeliness of scum on the wagon is somewhere in

    Rubicon -> Cobalt -> Regfan -> Fontisian.

Maaybe switch Cobalt and Regfan. Unsure.

    ---------- Post automerged at 15:56 ---------- Previous post was at 15:52 ----------

    What?

You are saying that a possible town (kai) having a wrong assumption on a guaranteed town (you - at least from your point of view) will lead to the right result for no reason at all?

Is this one of those things where you ask us to lynch you in 10 minutes because it is for the good of town?

If Kai is scum then your reasoning there does not matter, because he knows better and you give him every excuse to play you one way or another.
And if he is town then he is wrong in the first place.

Speaking of the GD I take it at this point they are of the opinion that claiming d1 is a bad idea?

The one thing that can be said about owner is that she has a third of the posts that she had by the end of d1 in Mountainous Mafia.

In that game she got lynched as town d1.
That is not a death sentence, but something to look at.

    >.> It was a hypothetical situation. In this situation I'm scum, as made clear by the opening of "Scum me proposing the counterwagon of Scum!Reg to Scum!Owner".

Miner only said that we should take a look at the people who weren't on his wagon, and that there probably was one scum in there. Miner did not indicate that Koalas was scum at all. Miner is surprised that Koalas is reacting so strongly to something like this.

Something to note for the future, methinks.

    It is Von.

A lot of things. Him outting during pregame and arguing for not spamming the thread, but not being able to stay away at the time.

The way he argued with Fonti early on is very unlikely to be something he would dare to do in a w/v situation.
And I don't think them talking that way about you isn't w/w either.

It is mostly one of those .. oh yeah von is obvious town things. If you really want I can look it up for you, but I would rather not waste my time this close to EoD on that.

I would take a bet of at least 3 scum not being on you.
    Good chance of 4.

I don't recall Vaimes claiming either.

Oh, and there's a decent chance of there being 2 on me.

Vote analysis for the Miner wagon at the time of the claim:

Rubi jumps on Fonti scumreading Miner immediately, but not by voting, but by defending Miner:

We never did hear what it was supposed to mean.

He ignores the Miner conversation immediatelt afterwards, but gets back to it by telling Fonti "I won't stand in your way, but I'm mildly skeptical".

The word noncommittal comes to mind again. Why bother stating you don't agree with someone if you're not going to argue the point? So you have it on record that you were against the lynch come the flip?

He votes Fable on the basis of interaction with Miner/Fonti in #612, but he's not really engaged in the Miner discussion all that much until Miner comes back.

    At which point we get:

Rubicon tears Miner's admittedly crappy defense to shreds, and following Fluff's poke we get

    Followed by the naked vote.

Rubicon is more likely than not town.

Or he is actively trying to pocket me.
I am somewhat fine with either.

Kalas has not had a good morning/Day 1. Kalas sees garbage reasoning from someone who should know better. Kalas calls out bullshit.

Basically all of Rubicon's scumread on Miner came from Miner's defense, which was a lot of "you guys can't read me" and "that's not my meta at all".

I think that's a fair reason to scumread Miner actually, he was pretty flail-y.

    ---------- Post automerged at 16:36 ---------- Previous post was at 16:31 ----------

Reg comes off worst in the comparison (alignment-wise, Cobalt sheeping is not good):

Font started it all, but that kind of confidence is not a scum!tell for her. The play is not good, but it's hard to really scumread her for it.

Reg has to really work for it to get there, and he misrepresents his earlier statements doing so.

    Cobalt straight up sheeped.

Rubi 180 scumread Miner on his weak self defense.

If Reg comes off the worst does that change your feelings on owner at all? I really doubt they're w/w.

Not really? I haven't really looked at Rubi/Owner interactions, but I don't have Owner as particularly aligned with anyone. Just unaligned with Reg.

With miner as town .. this is just ..

I can see Koalas tying owner/miner together (as town) and owner/fonti (as scum) too.

Like .. if owner goes down, he would have fuel to go for fonti.
And if miner goes down he has a reason to townread owner.

I don't know .. just feels like w/w to me.

    ---------- Post automerged at 16:46 ---------- Previous post was at 16:45 ----------

Ha! my timing to find the Koalas/Owner thing could not be more on point!

How did you go from owner and Miner are doing similar (bad) things to lynching one clears the other?

    Not saying clears.

Pretty sure I said "has a reason to townread".

    Two people doing something similar.

One person gets lynched for it and flips town.

Apparently the reason person a got lynched was not alignment indicative.

Makes person b more likely to be town.
Maybe it is not a reason to hard townread her, but you remove any possible fuel for a scumread for that reason.

Was it alignment indiciative of miner this game? Apparently not. If miner repeated the same actions next game would I have the same read? Absolutely. It's independently scummy. Which is why I'm on owner.

Following you're logic I should be backing off of owner.
