fontisian: Not much is up, trying to get my car in working condition after coming home to find the fam left it out all winter uncovered and never bothered to start it up. So that's fun. Anyway, all this mechanical nonsense is stupid and aside from reading it to keep up, I'm more than willing to let better minds hash out specifics of the gamestate (s/o Newcomb for that succinct summary btw).

Some of the revelations have made it clear that I'mma have to do a big 'ol re-read to recalibrate reads, or at least ISO some folks, so I'm gonna procrastinate on that as long as possible. But I'm looking into it. Jan started crumbing that Fluff was the priest in pregame before the acolyte was aware of who their priest was, so. If that's a thing, my understanding is that it's literally pretty random chance.

Every time Fable mentioned Fluff specifically it sounded very forced to me on D1, and so him being acolyte makes more sense to me than him just being scum at this point.

Not really. Like I said, gotta re-calibrate after this roleclaim shenanigans and I'd prefer to do that with a more solid idea of who's telling the truth and who (if anyone?) is scum gambitting. I can't think of any reason for all these claims to be assuredly mutually exclusive though.
