And as much as it pains me to say it, nursing Miner does seem like the optimal play here; his role still has quite a bit of relevance and guaranteeing that scum can't remove that from the game is solid.

I agree with fonti here. If Koalas nurses Miner in this context that would be strong evidence that he is town (which remains a possibility). I certainly wouldn't keep my vote on him at that point.
