We have more than enough people to take care of living witches though.

Right, whatever, I won't argue with your mechanics if no one else has any issue with it.

Mainly looking at you KaiDASH and Newcomb.

Plus, learning if Kalas is a witch tells us how desperate the scumteam is. If they had a witch deep in the towncircle, then witch!Kalas would have never tried to save himself by nursing Miner. Well, except if Miner is a witch, but if he was with Kalas, Kalas wouldn't have been so strongly opposed to nursing Delphine in the first place.

Why would Von die? I don't see that in the OP.

Hmm, the assassin was reworked. Never mind.

In the original version of the rules (posted in signups), an incorrect Assassin pick means the assassin dies. Not sure if that still applies to this game though, since it appears that line was intentionally omitted.

Wait, so yeah, Von, take your pick and shoot one of Rubicon/fonti.

(I think font's role's is more useful as town but what do I know)

    Eidolonic, your rules are wrong.

Even if Von doesn't die, that order is still stupid.

The best scenario (killing a trueclaiming witch and then lynching Kalas) is the equivalent on killing Kalas and lynching a witch.

Assassin does not die if it whiffs a kill.

    The OP rules are correct.

It was a forum based change made a while back.

Except the part where we might not lynch Kalas today.

    Hmm.

    Will discuss with you later.

Miner, is there any world where Kalas is not in your overall poe? Any at all?

Like, I'm not saying that Koalas shouldn't be a lynch at some point in the game.

But what I'm saying is that, with the size of the town as it is right now, I'm more in favor of lynching/killing in order to obtain the most information rather than lynching he who has already used his power in a +EV move.

    Font. (155).

Goes after Rubicon by second post and Miner by fourth post. Suggests GD claim D1, but argues decently by triggering my WH7 flashbacks. Suggests Miner is freaking out in scum chat because he was caught already and, later, that Miner is frozen and should be lynched unless he does something towny. Says she has never read Miner won across like 5-10 games. Someone later said this was a misconstruction because Font was scum in a lot of these games and knew Miner’s alignment automatically.

After Miner flipped, Font votes Reg for his reaction to the flip. Tells Cobalt to back off Jari. Later says we should lynch Kalas toMorrow. Votes Owner last minute, but we had the lynch votes already.

On D2, votes Kalas. Pulls Cobalt’s role from him even when Cobalt was trying to be vague. Says Rubicon went up in her reads. Says she’ll unvote Kalas is he Nurses Miner. If anyone believed this, I don’t know what to say to you. Claims she crumbed Acolyte on Jari because she wanted scum to shoot him. I’m okay with this, it seems like something she’d do. Says we shouldn’t use the Assassin yet, but changes her mind.

I have no opinion on her Rubicon read, but what bothers me most is her attitude. Like making Cobalt full claim when later she chides Reg for giving out too much information about his role. Other than the Miner push on D1, she hasn’t done much, but she also said she’s been sick. Her Kalas read is consistent, at least.

In general, I don’t bother reading Font and this is why.

    I’ll do Rubicon next.

I don't even know what her Rubicon read is.

Like didn't she say she'd move to Rubicon if Kalas nursed me?

Font was clearly trying to force Kalas to Nurse Miner. I would be godsmacked if she had any intention of not lynching him.

Ok, but most of the roles are oriented around giving information, so by killing them before the guy who has no abilities, you lose them.

I also think it's important to confirm Kalas's alignment, because there's already a lot of thought put into people he may be aligned with.

---------- Post automerged at 04:47 PM ---------- Previous post was at 04:46 PM ----------

Rubicon is my lynch after Kalas, for clarity.

Rubicon is Apprentice, and since he (apparently) isn't the Apprenticed Judge, then he's apprenticed to Jari.

Unless scum are willing to shoot Jari tonight over fluff, I don't see what info Rubicon can obtain before we should probably kill him either through lynch or kill ability.

I agree that killing you probably isn't a good idea today.

Also, also, Cobalt has a history of strong townread on mafia with no basis, and being willing to fake having info to back up these reads. With a priest red check already softer on Reg, I felt it was important to confirm that Cobalt wasn't pulling stuff out of his ass.

Reg, on the other hand, decided to tell the mafia what nights he can be safely shot for no reason. Y tho.

Rubicon's ability has the potential to be useful in a strange world. It has no potential to be helpful to witches, as all roles already outed, unless he was apprenticed to the judge and somehow makes it to even witch/town numbers and there is no killing role alive for town.

But if you're lynching him tomorrow, then this is a moot point.
