I finished going through Wacos ISO and I think the odds that Waco is mafia is significantly higher than any of Rubicon/Fontisian/KaiDASH. I think he makes sense with Koalas being mafia too, their interaction and push on each other does kind of read as distancing upon a read back and there's a few questionable reasons behind some of his reads, I also think as the games progresses his scumhunting has actually dropped off.

I think my preference re; lynch is Atum >>>>>> Waco>>>>>>>>> Anyone Else.

Now that you mention it, I actually think Rubicon's interactions (mainly the OG "angry Kalas is scum Kalas" read ---> the deja vu read) with scum!Kalas may be better than Waco's (Kalas's progression there was...weird? progressively disance-y? with the "here's 3 problems I have with a mostly good iso" ---> "I'M GOING TO STOP FONTI'S/WACO's ATTEMPTS TO GET OUT OF THE PoE ---> I AM STILL DEMANDING A RESPONSE TO MY POINTS and ignoring the fact that Fable's alignment being confirmed potentially makes one of them completely invalid" and in conjunction with Waco's tie of Kalas to Kai that I struggle to understand the passion behind).

I do feel like there's very probably at least one in {Waco/Rubicon}, I'm just trying to settle whether it can be both. Paging [mention

Delphine - I could buy the stance that there's one in Waco/Rubicon, I had a similar thing but throw in Kai and the "One there" but Kai's reasoning behind why he's not paired with Koalas is decent enough I'm happy to remove him from that and say there's 1 inside Rubicon/Waco too. I don't think both are scum though, it would involve the entire scum team bussing each other from fairly on in the game for..well no particular reason or gain. I think we're looking at exactly one there and well, two scum outside of peoples standard PoE pools.

I'd like to hear some more thoughts for you since I'm not feeling the absolute greatest about the You/Miner duo at the moment and reconfirming that you guys are town would be nice. My worry is that a lot of your recent thoughts/posts feels like a rehash of what either Newcomb or myself have already said. You got any tin foil worlds in your head? Where do you think we're going wrong?

This was all under the impression that the Assassin shot Kalas at some point.

Don't agree with this assessment but meh you're on Waco which beats most people.

 

Trying to read into why Kalas was enough of a pillar of salt to brush off my questions to him with "you're dead weight and nothing matters" just ... feels really bad at this point? Hope it's something I sleep off. Several hours later I seem to at least somewhat be climbing out of the mental funk from it.

What I have been doing is sitting in fonti's iso trying to assess her town equity beyond that I think it's really apparent from both ends of their interactions but esp Kalas's that they're not teamed.

I don't like her trying to argue that she's town for the Jan kill based on logic that I think would only clear him as not acolyte when presumably scum is aiming for the priest.

I do like her progression on me. She made me consensus town when it's just way more advantageous for her to play in a way that throws me off balance and leaves me mislynchable. It's well within her townrange to be cautious of me.

I like her Atum progression. She quoted his initial reaction to him being hard townread for people dissing his scumrange and said "for the paranoid townies in a few days," and I found it really genuine. People doubting her core townreads down the line is something she's salty over coming off of a recent game. I get that she fakes tone reasonably well, but I read Atum hardtown for ~exactly the same reasons she does and I in general actually believe her that she's protecting him and believes it's her wincon to do so.

I feel like scum!fonti probably goes more ham with bullshit associatives than she ended up doing on D1 (like, there was Fable + Rubicon stuff predicated from miner, but I got those.) Actually I guess there was the Jari/Reg thing too but even though I remember disagreeing with it at the time I don't remember it pinging me.

I still don't think I like the "Bro, you're going to die. Get your shit together." Miner not long before he started hammering in the pew pew because it sounds a little like she knows he's town.

I'm not actually following then how there'd be 5 kills since idk how the +1 life Loose Cannon survives two shots and then gets lynched the next day.

Like, uh. I get why that sounds boring and rehash-y to you, but when I read your post that you want to lynch Waco I feel like I finally may have just gotten my answer from back on the night when you and Jan were throwing down and I just wanted someone to help me figure out how I should feel about Waco/the game state in light of miner interactions. I didn't actually realize how far he's fallen off a cliff this phase.

Everything has felt insanely nebulous to me for a while and actually realizing that how I actually feel is that at least one of Waco/Rubicon is mafia, probably just one of them, probably makes more sense for it to be Waco than Rubicon is, feelsgoodman. Sometimes I live in this weird world of feels and existentialism and it's nice when I actually find words.

As far as tin foily shit, I literally had a dream that Cobalt was scum, which I find really strange because I haven't thought about him in general as much as most people in this game. And also because I think you might be my top town outside of Fluff/Fable/miner.

Oh it's certainly not 'boring', I actually really enjoy reading your posts and love it when you 'find words' too. I don't even know if my criticism or concerns are fair given my qualms are moreso with Miner than yourself but I've gone from being absolutely certain you're both town earlier on to starting to doubt it and find more worlds where you two could be scum the case. I mean if you're town here lots of this is on me in not being able to find the scum team well enough elsewhere and not on you but I'd like to be able to see more from you to rule it out entirely. I'm pretty set on us either killing Atum or Waco today though.

Fair, I think the odds of Cobalt being scum are virtually zero though, at least from my perspective the odds of the scum team haunting me & then proceeding to state a watcherman clear on me makes no sense especially after several votes and posts that could have been read as a soft guilty. There's also the aspect that others brought up re; if I had an action-role Cobalt would have confirmed himself as mafia and him making that move can always backfire by me going "If I'm mafia, Cobalt has to be mafia whereas it's plausible for it to be Cobalt!Scum and Me!Town so if you're lynching me today you're actually better of lynching him" which fucks the scum team if they're trying a gambit there. Not to mention I've got a pretty strong tonal/meta town read on him this game. I consider him the same level of confirmed town as Fluff/Fable.
