    That's frustrating.

    No, only in witch!Koalas worlds.

This is really mischaracterizing what I wrote entirely.

I forgot about Newcomb. He's outside what I've seen of his scum range.

Yes, I meant if Koalas is a witch.

How confident are you about that?

I mean it can kind of be inferred you think cobalt/reg/waco is a thing but honestly that's not better than reg thinking delphine/miner are witches and you never brought this up previously.

    The Waco Kid
    Jan
    Atum
    Fable
    His Fluffiness

    Claim Duos: Delphine, Miner
    Cobalt, Regfan
    99.9%: Vaimes
    Priest check: Fontisian
    Not endgaming: KaiDASH, Newcomb,

    Leftovers: Vira, Jarizok, Rubicon

    Koalas
    Owner

    Notes:
I think if there's scum in the claim groups, it's on the Cobalt/Regfan side. I'd skimmed through Cobalt iso during N2, and I challenge everyone to skim through it and contrast the number of posts that 1) analyze the game 2) short emotion based 3) chastise people for thinking her town call on Regfan isn't right 4) Fluff. You'll notice very few fit in category 1.

Regfan has me thrown for a bit of a loop. I'd been reading him independently town at EoD1, then the red check, and the haunt thing seemed really... convenient? He was also oddly insistent about Kai being Inq afer the soft, grasping at a life-line? Then since mid-D2 it feels like he's doing everything to expand PoE or lynch outside of it. Feels off. First time he's gotten my alignment wrong since TH too. Also, who thinks of the phrase scum theatre, unless you're trying to make something sound bigger than it is?

Newcomb, Vira and the lead to Delphine's claim-
Newcomb- I fully admit to appearing to abnormally changing up on Newcomb around late D1. The aggressive play I'd tried to get a read didn't work, so I'd tried a new tack given the read I was feeling. I feel like Newcomb may have slipped slightly in #2690 in regards to me if I read that correctly, calling me town, when the rest of the post said I was scummy.

Between Newcomb and Regfan, it drives me a little nuts how many times they were going back and forth "You're doing this it's scummy/paranoia scum read on the other" and then "nah you're good." Where there reasons were sometimes there, it's like, yea we get it. I'd been reading them un-aligned from the reads competition similarities, but the above gave me doubts. Certainly would fit the scum theatre concept Regfan keeps bringing up. owner/koalas/Newcomb/Reg/Cobalt? is a conspiracy theory that haunts me.

The above said about Newcomb, I think in general especially D2, his play more resembles his town game than his scum game to me here. Additionally, and the reason I was willing to make the read change D1 was in regards to the play around the Delphine claim.

    Compare the following two posts:

Nominally, both posts call for a second wagon besides Miner in the minutes prior to the claim. However Vira's is more of a generic wagon push, and while she does leave owner in the wagon pool, it reads to me like that's less of a focus than the Rubicon & Fable wagons which had more support at the time.

Newcomb however, is calling directly for votes on owner to be the second wagon. I lied slightly earlier, when I mentioned Newcomb would have to have been caught on a partner given the unexpected claim. Remember he specifically mentions the idea of determining w/v wagon. So the only way Newcomb makes sense there means not only is he caught, but he has to be with the GD (or at least a scum!apprentice, with the town!GD eating a N1 bullet again).

Finally with Vira, I feel like some of the dis-associations I've seen for her are strangely light. This is the same Vira who bussed repeatedly in Hanninbal. If she had a partner who was a sinking ship, I have little doubts she'd be bussing. So no, I disagree with the t/w reads for vira/owner and Vira/Koalas.

I think Kai might appreciate that I was initially reading him as the apprentice because he'd made less Trump memes than usual in the early game

Jarizok has dropped off kinda badly, but I thought he was so towny especially early D1.

Vaimes- I again repeat, if you're scum here, you can put a quote or comment in my signature for a couple of months

Fontisian- between the preist check and I think t/w with Rubi so more likely town than not.

    non-aligns:
    Reg/Rubi?
    Koalas/Fable
    Rubi/Fable?
    Vira/Rubi
    New/Delph
    Fonti/Rubi

    Town let's finish this off
Jan, save me a good seat in angel chat

Try not to just let scum sweep this because of silly assumptions. The last 24 hours have not been encouraging.

Or to put in another way:

    I'm town. Be better.

Kai goes off today on a consensus target. Narrows PoE and if the game is still live which I pretty much doubt then we can go to tinfoil worlds.

---------- Post automerged at 10:05 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:03 PM ----------

I want Kai going off on Fonti or Jarizok. I don't see scum at all in Vaimes/Vira but if we make it past that point and somehow they're still alive I'll consider them or Delphine, but I doubt we'll need to get there.

Newcomb is fine to save til later because DoB.

Out of the 11 people remaining, 5 are lock clears to me and two are hard town. If there's scum in there I'll be extremely surprised. I really think mowing through Kai/Fonti/Jarizok wins the game.

Tru, I forgot how horribly he dropped off.

I want Kai to blow him up though.
