    I don't really have the same impression of this. Usually people who don't know me who are just seeing my play for the first time guess that I'm an easy target to push until I *really* get involved in the game.

    Yes, but you can't be stating that X/Y/Z may be mafia due to their read on Cobalt coming across as them trying to state a town read on Town!Cobalt while not actually having a town read on Cobalt, it's a connection that makes little sense.

    Still got some players to go through but currently at;

    @Q - Explain how Jarizok goes up due to the flip? I actually think it increases the odds he's mafia at the moment.

    What?

    In what universe is fonti ever lying about any of the qt stuff?

    You're going to have to explain your reasoning here.

    Oh, and I also didn't like Zenzao's 1345. Like, the structure of it is just weird and doesn't fit well with the normal Zenzao walls I read. Large portions of it aren't really saying anything or giving an opinion, simply narrating, even without a slant.

    Like I really struggle to read it.

    Not lying, but rather how Vaimes explains it. Like, how he felt fonti was pushing him on the kill. The way I take it from fonti is it was a lot her input that went that way.

    Regfan, one word: Zenzao.

    I literally just said that I wasn't stating that and I said as much multiple times before, too. I was *not* using that as a point to make X/Y/Z more likely scum. It was just something I had in the back of my mind to help give me a general direction to look in and evaluate from there ("*if* Cobalt is town scum will probably be town reading him, I'll look around and see if I can find any evidence of this in the game thread).

    Remember that there's sub 24hrs. We need to be moving onto wagons. (And, specifically, Zenzao.)

    Like when you post stuff like that it gives me the impression you're mostly just paranoid of me and are getting caught up on dumb shit/not really trying to look at what I'm getting at with my posts in favor of thinking "omigawd pie is scum". Sorry, but that's how it feels and I'd like if you could check yourself a bit. Do it for me.

    Finished going through Stanari, not really any interaction or comment between Waco-Her. I also don't find her reaction towards the shot as genuine as I did before? And I thought it was much less town than others did, so um, helap explain what I'm missing here?

    Like using "I talked about my Waco read extensively so it isn't surprising Cobalt would bring that up" is the same thing. You didn't actually stop to go back and check it again at all.

    Um Pie, you realise I'm not even focusing on you atm, right? Like I'm spending the time I have to actually reread everyone with the flip in mind. I'm well aware I could be wrong on you.

    Without those votes on you your post alone wouldn't have been enough for a snap decision. It takes A x B here, not A+B. A is bad following a scumflip, but is it bad enough to immediately vote you? No. But when you have three(x) votes in quick succession following a scumflip(B), it does indicate that users(Fable, who Acio+dC+Regfan are vouching for, Acio himself, and pienyan who I've noted isn't stellar but still in a decent place) who are more caught up to this point have found something worth looking into. It took me a minute to put context together from what I had just read and it made sense. And given we are less than 24 hours left in D1 and I have to sleep eventually, I made a quick judgment call.

    Fair enough.

    pienyan --- I mean, I interpret that as Cobalt distancing from Waco if they're both scum...but, how does that work with Waco's Cobalt interaction being chainsaw? That's hella uncoordinated if it's what's going on.

    If I'm sticking the strong town reads I have in here, I end up with;

    This looks pretty bad for Jarizok.

    Sorry for the massive amount of posts, my mind is moving really fast and I keep thinking of new things I want to say after I've submitted already.
    Regfan; You've had me as a focus this entire game day, wrote a case on me at the start of the game day, are continuing to write long-winded explanations for why stuff I'm doing doesn't make any sense. You really ought to know (based on shit like the wedding game) that I can't fight consensus scum reads on me (which this game *is* heading towards.) and moreover, with every single post you make where you don't understand my play I fear more and more this will turn into another FF situation and I can't handle that shit in my life right now.

    ---------- Post automerged at 02:01 AM ---------- Previous post was at 02:00 AM ----------

    Like if I could try to explain it, I guess it's simply more fear than anything. And I say this because I don't want you interpreting it as scum fear or "scrambling" or etc.

    Pie, I've been spending far more time in this day phase working towards getting an overall better picture of the game, reaffirming my town reads and making sure that Waco was the shot then on you. You've got a really warped perception of this at the moment.

    I don't think it's distancing, I think it's just "Cobalt spent the entire game ignoring Waco and then took an opportunity when it came up to link me to Waco". That wasn't a push or a scum read on Waco at all.
    The above also fits with "Waco spent the entire game ignoring Cobalt, and started to maintain me as a scum read in response to my push on Cobalt".

    I'm not 100% sure it does? Like, for this to be working we need to have:
    - Waco attacks you to defend Cobalt
    - Cobalt tries to link you to Waco despite Waco attacking you

    This seems...odd. Like, wouldn't Cobalt link Waco to someone who Waco WASN'T attacking to make it at least kinda credible?
    Regfan --- Yeah...if nothing else, it means knocking over Jari will either shake up those townreads or be really good.

    As I said if I had to guess it's more fear than anything. The stuff about Waco doesn't do anything to help this when you've constantly been talking about the possibility of me/Waco being S/S . . .

    In case you really can't tell, I feel really out of place on this site and I've been getting really stressed out by the pace of the game. Pretty much having to spend every spare minute addressing and thinking about and breathing mafia games and always having to react quickly/intuitively to stuff does this shit to me, especially when I feel like I can't even connect with you at all.

    Bear with me.

    @Pie - Like i"m literally going through every other player in the game atm, and you're spamming "you're focusing too much on me" type shit. It makes no sense, if you're town, step back and look for the mafia. I'm fine if you want me to 'bear with you' but at least let me finish my analysis elsewhere.

    The interaction between Waco & Jarizok between him prodding Jarizok for thoughts in Post #236 and the follow up response in Post #241 could be him attempting to interact with a partner early on. Jarizoks read on Waco is by far one of his least explained reads with him stating a town read on him in Post #250, having stopped elaborating on reads before getting to Waco and sticking him fairly high up in town in Post #706 and when I question him about the read in Post #854 and again in Post #1079 he states it as a meta-read calling him the same as last game and doesn't expand any further after he'd said the same read in Post #1077. On the flip side Waco states a weak town read on Jarizok inside Post #543 and then has the "didn't realise he was that quiet" type post in Post #750 and that's...the end of it. So both of them town read each other for very weak / not really explained reasoning after their early interaction and that was the end of it but Waco moved across to Plotless at a fairly crucial time which helped make that lynch more likely over Jarizok. I really could see Jarizok as mafia here.

    ---------- Post automerged at 04:17 AM ---------- Previous post was at 04:15 AM ----------

    Having 5/7 town reads on Jari whent he wagons were tied with only 2 question marks while Plotless had one confirmed scum and three question marks certainly is an awful look for him.

    @Pie, if you want to connect re; reads, ignore the Cobalt read and tell me if I've got anyone incorrect in my above reads list.

    While I'm postmerging I'll;

    Vote: Jarizok

    Just to tilt Q, will move it when I'm more confident in a scum read that I go through.

    dichotomousCreator; I'm not really sure that Cobalt would have put that much thought into it; I think if Cobalt is scum, it's a scenario where Cobalt and Waco were just ignoring each other, but then on D2 he saw Reg discussing the idea of me/Waco being S/S, saw it as an opportunity to link us together and take advantage to make things a bit easier for if/when he needed to push me later, and took it. It's more of an opportunistic thing than something that I imagine was planned out.

    Regfan; Pretty much any time I post anything you either criticize it and say it makes no sense, or say it's good but then later stop and go "oh she isn't doing enough" or "she hasn't done anything that's resonated with me like things usually do when she's town". I'm aware you're doing a bunch of analysis elsewhere, too, but think about how that feels from my POV for a few seconds. That's all I'm trying to get at here.

    I think you have Kai too high (I'm still mostly just null on him), but besides that we're mostly on the same page. I definitely agree that Jari has dropped off recently, but reading his posts I thought it was mostly just RL stuff so I didn't question it? At the very least it's making things a lot more inconvenient.

    In either case, I will try to step back a bit (and I'll probably end up going to sleep before posting here again). Sorry for just being insane, I guess.
