Hmm. Okay, thanks, I follow the fonti read and will think about dC.

I will side-eye you a little too because...you remind me of townleader scum, I guess? But everything else that I can consciously get from you is town and bad vague pings aren't really my concern at this point, lol.

I mean, fine, I can respect that you didn't want to win in that way, but I feel like saying no to extra time to read over stuff and just get more content from people (yes my activity is shit, thank you) is also not optimal townplay.

And besides, it's not like the flip was ever in doubt, the only thing we didn't know pre-flip was that Zen was backup roleblocker.

I mean. We're mostly just waiting on Jarizok.

    Everything else is eh.

Stanari - Fair. Kind of getting used to having people paranoid of me due to my playstyle at DLP now.

Miner - Eh, I think I've got a game winning town block so I'm not hugely caring about being "super optimal re; time spent". I'm just going to keep lynching strong scum reads, if they flip mafia, doing some interaction analysis, amending reads due to it and keep going. If someone I think is mafia flips town I'll stop and we can start being super cautious again.

Yeah it did strike me as potentially in relation to the Jari wagon. Like, trying to preserve a more valuable PR or somesuch? Or maybe distracting from it, although I don't know why he'd do that lol. Interesting thought on scumteam potentially being too demoralized to tell him to stop, though.

    Interesting.

Regfan, I find the scumteam thus far to be quite weak, so I would expect 5 scum.

Reg, the last time you were this confident about something, I paid the price <_<

Well, actually Delphine did, but whatever.

    Some things from yesterday:

    For shits and giggs:

    Quiddity
    Vaimes
    fontisian

    Fable
    Cobalt

    dichotomousCreator
    Stanari
    Regfan

    Adult (Miner)
    blab

    KaiDASH
    pienyan

    Jarizok

Less confident on scum than town. Probably a fair amount of herding has gone on.

Still, I'll throw my hat in for Pie/Kai/Jar/Zen/Wac

    Nothing particularly original, but eh.

I don't understand this, please explain?

Miner - I didn't really case either of you like I have Jarizok though; factoring in his interactions with Zenzao & Waco and how yesterday played out this does seem like a slam-dunk; in WH8, my scum read was more of a "I'm having trouble seeing a scum team that doesn't involve Delphine/Miner thing", pretty different. We also have flips here and have already lynched two mafia so we're in a good position? So uh, lynch Jarizok = He flips mafia, we continue, if he flips town we get a shitload to assess with how D1 played out and the game becomes solveable from there.

You're telling me that in a game where the Oracle clears a villager you didn't have to case me to get lynched?

    Btw, I'm male Regfan.

I'd really like quote for Blab and Zenzao interactions that clear. I'm not putting him in my bloc.

    Also concerned about dC.

Not really? My reasoning for pushing it through was effectively "I"m scum reading Miner and am having difficulty finding a world that doesn't involve Delphine/Miner being mafia, would mean someone in the strong town reads would be scum which I'm not seeing". My scum read on Jarizok here isn't really dependent on any of my other reads.

Also you agree with the scum read on Jarizok and have scum read him for ages? So why are you arguing here?

I'm not arguing against a Jari lynch. I'm saying take your time and use all the time you're given.

Yeah I can't bring myself to ISO pein right now, mostly because I'm not sure it's even worth it atm.

Kinda just feels like we just mow down the immediate PoE and then reassess if that game isn't over like Reg said.

Actually to be honest, I'm sorta buying the Jari association case? I do not think that the point about Zenzao not voting Jari until 16 hours after his Jari wall is all that great, or the point about the Zenzao scum claim point to S/S - Zen simply wasn't around and placed a vote the next time he entered the thread, and the scum claim is just WIFOM *especially* since people agreed the order was irrelevant - but I think that Jari and Zen's reads on each other purely based on the content do point to S/S. The only real counterargument I can think of is "there's a part of me that doubts Jari would be so lazy about his reads on both of Waco and Zen as scum".

I'm in a very unusual headspace right now. I see the merit in the points on Jari, but I have two scum reads on Cobalt and Reg that are way more intuitive than founded in logic (particularly the second one), neither of whom are with Jari, and I wouldn't really feel all that great about myself if I fought against a lynch on actual scum for what basically amounted to paranoia.

There is a huge part of me that is being led to think "let's just lynch Jari and after that I'll pretty much know for sure what Reg is based on what Jari flips", as horrible as that is. (If scum he's almost always just town, if town prepare for me to turn this thread completely red)
Regfan; Cobalt/Jari I don't think is a thing here, but a lot of that is influenced by fonti telling me Cobalt isn't the bussing sort-of type, and if Jari is scum Cobalt will have pushed pretty much nothing but scum the entire duration of the game, so you're asking the wrong person. In fact, I don't think Cobalt is scum at all here unless he's with you. I'd come back around to it in like, XYLO or something, but not before.

    Can't say I didn't see that coming!

I think I entertain significantly more of a townread on pie than most of the thread, which is vaguely unsettling.

Can someone point me at a case on her? Or is this primarily a PoE thing?

The tone read bit was: I said "tone reads on Zenzao" where what I meant was "things on Zenzao that are weaker than known scum pulling a wagon off you onto known town". Which to my mind the arguments on Zen were at the time. because known scum moving a wagon off you onto known town is pretty strong.

...although looking back on this I'm falling into my own trap of scumreading Jari purely based on Waco's actions, which Waco could have faked to make Jari look like scum. Now I'm REALLY curious to see what pie has to say about this. (PREVIEW EDIT: Hmm. Interesting.)

The other bit with the claims was: Claims could theoretically be confirmable, so we should try and get them.

Disagree with extreme prejudice, and utterly sick of seeing this argument. Mechanic speculation in closed setups is bad for two specific reasons:
    - People are trying to figure out mechanics instead of scumhunting, or
    - The conversating is cluing scum in to stuff.

Neither of these were happening, so what exactly is the problem?

Agree we should have a full length day phase this time, if only so there's time to replace Jarizok for inactivity (or scumfirm him if a replacement does not occur before the end of the day because this confirms he's active but choosing not to post)
KaiDASH, Cobalt, Jarizok --- We're approaching all hands on deck here...if either of you are town, y'all need to get to doing useful stuff so we don't default to townlurker lynches and then end up in a tight spot later.

(and yes I know that's kind of hypocritical coming from me at the moment, but my thought processes are stuck in "everyone who's talking is probably town so scum are just the lurkers!")

The problem I'm having is that we're in two vastly different worlds based on whether Jari is town or Jari is scum. For that reason (combined with the fact Jari I guess has a slightly above average % of hitting scum) I don't really know if I can endorse a lynch elsewhere today unless Jari shows up and does something really town somehow.

Also I'm not ready to commit to a quick day yet.

Acio shot was probably just random into our townfirms, however of the players here, scum dC has probably the most incentive to make that shot since Acio is the most familiar with his play.

To be clear though, I don't think dC is scum here but it's something to think about if we lynch everyone and game still isn't over.
