Can we please not? There's enough strong reasons that point towards DC being town to make this an avenue that's not worth going down; 1) Fonti's point about him not realising the game had started and refreshing the sign up thread for the first ~24 hours, it's not something he'd fake (it most certainly happened) and it's something that feels pretty unrealistic to happen as mafia. 2) His gambit yesterday where made up the 'confirm while I'm alive' is something I really don't think he'd do as mafia, combine it with the fact that he was already strongly town read at the time I don't think he'd be giving himself more reasons to have people question him not dying, it's a very natural thing to do as town in a "Let me try and eat the bullet as a VT" type play, I've quoted it below. 3) His play throughout D1 and majority of D2 was just very obvious town and the slight drop off and weird tone isn't anywhere near enough to negate that.

 

I should clarify that "confirm while I'm alive" was NOT a gambit. The doublevoter could step forward and say "your doublevote only lasts one day" in order to collect confirmation. The fact the doblevote only lasted one day was the "identifying property" I alluded to, and this is the OTHER reason I was trying to make it look like I'd been made a permanent doublevoter.

Getting there slowly, and I'm having trouble with there being too many scum. There's 2 scum dead and all of Miner/Reg/Cobalt are still scum to me. Reg/Cobalt read most aligned both ways, but Miner is my most confident read independently. Cobalt > Zen reads aligned, but Zen > Cobalt kinda doesn't? My Zen reads have proven faulty though.

Kai is town for his post on Jan's thoughts? Scum!Kai /could/ also say it ofc, but he's much less likely to think of it/post it.

For cenvenience sake, if I'm wrong on Reg, I'm probably also wrong on Cobalt? Reg being town then doesn't look good for Pie, who I was looking at as town due to the Reg focus. Waco/Zen/Miner/Pie is at least worth looking into versus Waco/Zen/Reg/Cobalt. If there's 5 scum it could of course still be Waco/Zen/Miner/Cobalt/Reg, but that 1547 and having missed both Waco and Zen mean I've lost faith.

Oh hai Reg. Was starting to think I was alone here. Guess that's well deserved for not being here at all for the last dayphase or so.

 

Pie's read on me throughout the last few real life days have been so far outside of how she'd do so as town; we've had pretty in depth conversations where she's stated that she wouldn't attempt to interact with me if I scum read her incorrectly and instead attempt to gamesolve.

That's not happened here at all and her flipping it around from yesterday where "She wasn't even remotely paranoid I was mafia and was completely certain I was town" to me pushing for the Waco shot, him flipping mafia, me pushing through on Zenzao and him flipping mafia to stating that she's "paranoid of Cobalt/Me" in worlds where Jarizok is town here doesn't add up. Not a snowballs chance in hell she thinks as mafia I pull the vig shot off Jarizok if he's town onto a partner and then hard push on a partner at day end like that.

There's also been very minimal attempt at actually game solving from her for quite some time now; there's little to no comments about what Waco/Zenzao's flips should do to her reads overall. Her focusing on herself being involved in the lynch pool over "where is the wrong reads in the town pool" is something that makes significantly more sense as mafia.

Could go on and on here but I really shouldn't need to.

You'll notice the read doesn't really flow naturally at all and there's constantly "I need to sort him", "I'll wait for him to post more to get a read", "Got a town game I can look at of his" type commentary but zero follow through with any of these, it's how scum handle their partners, they find a reason to put them to the side and not be the main focus they have to deal with. The last comment where she states she scum reads Zenzao independently is a read that came out of absolutely nowhere, she'd mentioned she was focusing on him but never returned with a read. This being what she'd stated when the Zenzao wagon was picking up to begin with but her not jumping on it there and instead putting forward the "Not with my other scum read" excuse is a huge scum tell, as is Zenzao flipping mafia and her returning to her Cobalt read.

The comment in particular about "anyone got a town game of his", is her posting it hoping that people read them as unaligned due to it to help down the track. The lack of follow through on this as well points towards it.

If I get lynched and then Jari is town from there, you all fucking promise me you hang Reg immediately. Also do not end the day immediately; I was considering just keeping silent because I thought was insane, but now, hell no (except I need to sleep in a few mins so that will be tomorrow).

This is a fear push, pure and simple. He wants to discredit me before I *actually* start discussion about him being scum and get people actually thinking about things a bit more.

 

See this is why I didn't want to lynch reg OR pie today. I think you're BOTH paranoid town and if this is wrong we can sort it out once we've got the people who AREN'T caught in a mutual scumreading death spiral.

I can guarantee you this is not a "paranoia" read whatsoever, I can also guarantee you that Pie's flipping mafia here. Actually read what I've put forward; none of Pie's reads have any sort of genuine progression towards them, her reads on both Waco and Zenzao make a lot of sense as partners.

Her read on Cobalt has been problematic the entire game, her using Cobalt as an excuse not to vote Zenzao early yesterday saying she doesn't think they're partners and then circling back to Cobalt being mafia today is literally the definition of scum.

 

I can buy SOME of this, but progression on reads isn't always in-thread. Do the progression inconsistencies hold up if you assume pie is reprocessing reads in QT posts and then simply re-stating the new read?

 

It's not how she plays; she's a big advocate of transparency with reads and thoughts, I'm the same in that regard; if you take a look at WH8 for instance you'll notice I have thoughts and reads inside my QT but they're always moved to the thread too. There's just none of that here. The read progressions don't make sense, if you go through her ISO and look specifically at her reads on Waco/Zenzao/Cobalt/Jarizok/Myself for instance it's pretty clear she's mafia.

Think if you looked at her posts and counted 'posts where he states reads' v 'posts where she's spent time about peoples reads on her' you'll find that there's a significantly larger portion of the latter then the earlier from D2 onward. To put it clearer; she's not looking for scum.
