Eeh. I mean. Its a WW2 CoD. I liked those, a lot. Specially since Medal of Honor sucked after PS2 and I never really enjoyed Battlefield, it's the only WW2 game I had/have.

 

So I'm actually the only one that wants to play Sea of Thieves? And, of course, I don't own an Xbox of any sort. Last Night looked pretty promising too.

Hyped for Playstation to melt faces.

Honestly, I'm a little surprised nobody mentioned anything about the Devolver Digital e3 thing.

 

I mean... it was funny? They didn't actually have announcements.

 

So Bethesda's conference was a thing.

It was rather boring topped with what what is probably going to turn out to be the best game of the next couple of years.

Also there is something adorable about how hard they are trying to push that MMO of theirs. This time they found some people that were willing to accept money to pretend to care and 'react' to the latest expansion. So I guess things are looking up for it.

I think CoD should be taken off life support. Same with BF. Alas, entertainment industry finds new IPs icky.

 

Wow what an opener for Ubisoft of all places, Xcom Mario and whatever those rabbits are, looks fun though. Brought a smile to my face and it's coming for Switch on August so that's pretty soon.

 

Mario/Rabbids is a travesty.

It's rather... different from the original, to the point that I'd think it'd be better to be a new IP, but hot damn, I want it anyway.

 

I guess I shouldn't be throwing stones looking at my digital Overwatch skins, but all those different weapons you can put on your ship reek of Pay2Win. And it's Ubisoft, they'll make you pay through the nose for them.

 

That...doesn't look like the Beyond Good and Evil I remember. It looked awesome, but not like Beyond Good and Evil.

Anthem does look awesome, but I've never really got into multiplayer games like that - maybe this will be the one to change my mind? Already seeing oceans of salt over Bioware focusing on that over Mass Effect though, and I'm torn between a certain amount of sympathy for that POV and being irritated enough by it that I might buy it as a protest.

 

ME ended well enough with ME3, but if they were working on a new IP, why not announce that and not jerk people around for 5 years and then release a problem-ridden mess? Let Shep go out in a blaze of bliss after Citadel and announce the new IP in 2015 instead. From what I saw it's a perfect platform for a good horde mode like in ME3 and they fucking had the template for the game mode in ME3.

The whole Anthem thing just makes MEA look like an even bigger embarrassment than it already was.

And yeah, BG&E2. Half-life 3 is coming sooner than that.

 

I should add re: Skull and Bones. They only showed PvP. If this game is basically For Pirates! I'll be pissed.

I'm assuming it's a sprawling rpg though because they invoked Black Flag, but are only (probably rightly) showing pvp so people can get a handle on what you'll be doing most in the game - sailing, combat and listening to Sea Shanties.


Oh, and I'll definitely be a Spanish captain, captaining the beautiful and deadly La Furia Roja...

(better let me name my fucking ship)

 

The Mario and Rabbid (?) thing looks fun as hell.

I could do without the rabbits, though, to be honest. I'd accept just a Mario-style Xcom.

 

So why is Sony revealing all these games when their show hasn't even started yet?
