From personal experience, I would say, report the plagiarist... you will deeply regret it if you don't. Once again from my experience, I would say don't even bother contacting them, I did that with my own little plagiarist, but that did little avail as they continued by making minor adjustments and continually follow my lead. People, who plagiarize, don't really care and that is why they plagiarize, because they don't care enough to do their own writing. So report their sorry asses!!!

It is quite similar, but like IP and nonjon said with the first one, it isn't similar enough that it could be classified as plagiarism. I say just contact the author and direct him to your fic, pointing out the similarities, and see what he says. It might, after all, just be honest coincidence...might being the optimum word.

 

I wouldn't even say it is that similar. It's the same idea, Harry banging Narcissa in front of Draco, but the result is not compareable. You can call the other thing an adjusted summary of your scene. It is quite annoying, but I doubt that's enough to bring him in.

If the other has read quite a few fics featuring Harry and Narcissa, then he can certainly point out other stories using the same idea. I think I have seen at least one similar scene before (but it might have been a rape scene).

 

Has anybody realised that he goes through all the descriptions of weapons, stance etc, Now if you have watched troy he has just taken the fight scene from the Movie, changed the names and characters and stuck it in his fic. Horrible really, No imagination. I agree that this was blatant plagiarism from both the movie and you.
