Hey guys!

You are always so great to help people find certain stories even if they only remember a few clues - so I'm optimistic that you will be able to help me, too!
I remember a few scenes where I forgot, to which story they belong to - in fact, I do not even know, whether these fics are still worth reading, but it drives me crazy not to remember...

1. A story where Harry seems to be somehow independent when growing up - he meets with Snape in .. I believe some room in the Leaking Couldron or somewhere where Snape helps him get rid of some binds on his magic or something and he does something for Snape in return... does this ring any bells for anyone?

2. A fic where Harry has a sister somewhere in the US, both Voldemore and th Order are looking for her... later there are some nice interactions between the siblings. I'm quite sure that in the same story, Dumbledodre's dead wife (!) is resurrected or something, she is a very powerful seer. And Harry&Co. go for a rescue mission for Draco Malfoy (and/or his mother.. or something..)

I know that those are not exactly lot of clues, espcecially in the first case, but maybe someone of you does remember? I'm also remembering something about Harry buying a Wand in Knockturn A.... something about the wand being darkish.. ash... and also some discussion with the wand-guy about "one-use-wands" - used by assassins or something. These scenes might be out of the same stories as the scene with Snape.... unfortunately, I really just remember these scenes, nothing plot-relevant ;/

So - does this ring a bell for someone?

The first one does sound familiar. It's probably a time-travel story. I'll post the link in like 5-10 mins.

Do you know/can guess how old it is? Any other pars of the story?

 

Meh. Yeah. Harry is a tortured soul and is forced to kill Ginny under imperious. He comes back in time because of some blood oath he swore in heat of battle. He lands up when he saves the stone from Quirrel. He acts, goes back to Surrey, sneaks out for a cliched shopping trip, runs into Snape, unlocks his 'magical core' and he and Snape become father and son.

He becomes soo powerful at the end that he blasts away Voldemort with a wave of his wand and he stops AK's with his hands.

A guilty pleasure story at the best.

that really does sound a bit stupid. Although there was a time when all these clichee-stuff was not cliched yet but somehow cool. Must have been one of the earliest fics I read, I really don't remember anything, although this imperius-bit sounds familiar..

 

Yeah. There was like a 2 6k chaptered angst fest on that alone.

 

Still, if you (or someone else) remember the name, I'd be curious - then i can either finally forget it - or find out, that I was looking for yet another one...

The 2nd fic was better, I believe... though unfinished or maybe there should be a sequel or something... mh
