Eh. It's not like it's unusual for the script to be released alongside a play - the RSC do it fairly regularly, if not for every production.

 

I wonder if jkr will go out of her way to emphasize Hermione's African heritage.

Doubt it, especially if it's just the printed script. It really would be unnecessary trolling/pandering at that point.

It's probably just the script. It's done with most scripts here as well.

And I already know what half the schools all over the world will perform as school play in 2017.

That's slightly disappointing. I'm not going to pretend I'm not going to pick it up, might as well after reading seven. But I hope it is edited in a way that makes it feel more like a story and less like a instruction on how to tell a story.

 

I guess it's going to be a script, but with this and the movie their's obviously going to be some HP fandom surge, so even if it isn't in novel format it shouldn't take too long for someone to make it comprahensable. And I'm not going to pertend either way that if I buy a boxed set I'm not going to buy this, and all the little supliments, to complete my collection.

 

Nothing I've heard about the play sounds overly interesting or really sounds much like the Harry Potter I grew up loving. I hope to be wrong, but for a story where Rowling says a play is the proper medium it seems unlikely.

 

DLP could turn the script into a novel.

I find it hard to be excited about this at all.

 

They simply want to make a little bit of extra money......after all, you can never have enough money. Rowling will even destroy her public image for some money.
