    Rated 6.5/10 because of its ending and unnecessary length.

    Not so sure about the new one, but The Strange Disappearance of Sally-Anne Perks was a quite well written piece of mystery.

    I know I saw it linked somewhere on DLP, but I can't seem to find it again. It's also not listed here, so apparently it hasn't been posted in this thread.

    Yes, I am Harry's Brother: Five years after his defeat the shade of Voldemort visits Harry Potter, and has a slight accident with one of his Horcruxes. The Dark Lord wanted a new body, but this isn't what he had in mind.

    No slash. Well, unless you count the implications that...
    Daphne Potter, Harry's wife, and Fleur Delacour, his mistress, are just as much in love with each other as they are with Harry. Though that didn't come up til the last chapter.
    They're kids, 11-13 or so, for the vast majority of the story. Not that that stops them looking at older girls.

    I started off a bit slow, but I read Chapters 3-25 in one sitting. The writing is mediocre, but there were some original ideas in there. Stuff I haven't quite seen before. I also enjoyed Voldemort's character -- he's both clearly Voldemort but also clearly not the same Voldemort. He happily murders people left and right whenever it's convenient for him, he's manipulative and bright, etc. But he's also noticing that he seems to feel things for the first time, etc. And he still intends to live forever and enjoy the hell out of having power... just he goes about it differently.

    It's also complete at around 75k. I don't see it making it into the library, but it's one of the better non-DLP fics I've run across in months.

    That fic turned out to be more serious than I expected after Voldemort and Harry started playing Let it Be in one of the earlier chapters.

    Lol. That Author Ynyr writes stories with the lulziest of themes. But then its like he/she makes an effort to make all their stories decidedly average in quality.

    Take for example, this story (HP/DF Crossover). I lulzed so hard when I read the Hermione/Kreacher Soul-Bond stuff in it. That shit was cash.
    This fic is also weird enough to give fans of either fandoms apoplexy regarding several points in the fic.
    The writing though, is ridiculously flat. So many genuinely shock-able moments wasted with the monotonous writing, it starts to look funny even.

    @CheddarTrek.

    I've read that fic before.

    While it has many interesting ideas and I'm always up for fics in which Voldemort is a protagonist, what made it uncomfortable for me is when he and Harry
    for no reason started playing muggle guitars. WHY?!

    That writer is on my psychopath list. All his story have characters with no empathy in common and I don't think it's just a lack of skill. That's how he perceives people and it just feels so completely alien.
