I wonder how many corpses of fallen goats lie at the bottom of that dam.

Maybe the dam itself is just a pile of goat corses, compacted over time. They just never learn.

That's got to be the worst dub-job ever attempted.

First I was like , then I was like :(

Not sure if this really fits this thread, but it's certainly interesting - and quite deep. Edit: That, or just plain pretentious.

First of all, that's a pretty bad time and spot to look for an audience, especially when everyone is on their way to work. Second, how many of you make over 32$/hour after taxes?

Video here (This also contains a link to the original Washington Post article.)

People slow down to look at things in the street all the time. He's just in the wrong profession.

A person with a limb chopped off, or a stunningly hot chick? That's the kind of thing people slow down for.

Apparently, a guy died on the place where he was playing, and even then, most people didn't stopped to take a look.

Got this from that Washington Post article. It's pretty detailed.

Stunningly hot chick? Yeah, people will look then!

    Another interpretation might be:

    1) Classical music isn't as universally inspiring as the upper crust thinks it is.

    2) The guy's reputation as a great performer is limited to venues where the acoustics and culture support his very specific talent.

    3) That violin ain't all that. (3+ million for a fiddle? Oh good. You should take that to the subway, after all it's insured.)

I'd love to see the same experiment done by a gospel choir, a motown session musician, and Jewel (kinda back to her roots on that) and see how the revenue compares.

I don't know if these fit everyone's definition of "cool," but I thought they were. Note, though, that I haven't actually tried most of these.

And there's this one, which isn't instructional like the others but pretty cool nonetheless:
