Thanks to those bots, Echo of Medivh never stood a chance against Sabotage.
Webspinner just became more OP... as did Sneed's Old Shredder. How awesome would be if Gahz'rilla pops out of the Shredder in Control Warrior!!!!!!!!

So I just finished the fucking stupidest match I've ever played. So I started bad, no good cards in my hand, and it stayed that way. Somehow he didn't kill me a long time ago like he should, I just hung in there as he kept boosting his armor; I literally had no cards to play so I kept ahold of my spells. Meanwhile he didn't really play anything either until eventually he had something like 45 health.

I kept hanging in there, waiting on an ACTUAL CARD I could use. I was on 10 health just from sheer warrior punching me in the face with weapons when they came in the last four cards; two azure drakes and finally my archmage antonidas. The cards I'd needed this entire game, THEY WERE IN THE DEAD BOTTOM OF THE DECK. The last card was, so helpfully, a draw card. Yay.

But since my opponent had basically done nothing for ten turns I had an entire hand full of spells, finally plonked the two azure drakes down for +2 spell damage, smashed through his taunt, played antonidas and let the spells fly! It was glorious. One moment he's on 45 health, two turns later I've reduced him to a stumbling wreck.

Let's see... two drakes + the ice combo x 2. That's 18 damage, and that's before the fireballs start raining down from the sky. I had terrible draw luck, but so did this guy, since every fireball was 8 damage. Also managed to get my mana worm out before I played all these, but he died before I had a chance to hit him in the face with it.

Stupidest match I've ever played. Took 23 turns overall.

Welcome to Freezemage vs Control Warrior, possibly one of the most lopsided matchups in the entire metagame. (Although the Warrior is probably an idiot if he didn't win in the circumstances you describe.)

Pretty much what Oment said. I played quite a few from the Warrior perspective and it's just stack armour, keep removal for late game Alex/Antonidas or w/e they're running as finisher/burst enabler and he's got a snowballs chance in hell. By the time he can play anything you're at 20/30 armour and good luck getting through that.

Speaking of Control Warrior: last two packs from Arena (9 and 7 wins respectively) got me Grommash and Gorehowl. Perhaps the game is trying to tell me something? :)

2 months ago I dusted every golden card I had and some regulars beside to craft Grommash and anything else I missed, because I had a sudden urge to play Control Warrior. After that I've gotten 2 regular and a golden Grommash from packs and discovered I can't play more than 2-3 games with it before I get bored out of my mind. So if you can't handle slow 20 minute games, ignore what the game is telling you.

Why do you say that? It's basically just a more expensive deadly shot, which hardly sees any use in constructed play. It's also generally worse than assassinate, which also rarely sees play - one mana less is not worth losing the ability to choose which enemy to kill. Destroying weapons is useful, but only applicable against like half the classes and even then only if they have a weapon worth destroying up. Pretty sure this card won't see much play.

Also, I don't play rogue but I definitely wouldn't say it's OP right now. Pre-Naxx and Leeroy nerfs? Definitely, Miracle was really dominant. But with the introduction of sludge belcher and the increased leeroy mana cost I'd say it's nowhere close to being OP, or even one of the top classes on ladder atm.

Let me rephrase myself, the card has the potential to be op.

In terms of current meta you can Gadgetzan, prep into eviscerate into sabotage to clear the board.

In terms of future meta with the introduction of the new ogre mechanic of 50% chance of attacking the wrong enemy and the new spell/battlecry: Deal 4 damage to a random enemy minion. Your concealed Gadgetzan will more likely than not be killed off before you can start drawing cards with him during your next turn unless you play several minions to make the RNG work against your opponent.

New mechs and minions like Foe Reaper 4000(that can wipe out 3 minions), the 3 piloted mechs that have deathrattle: summon random X-cost/Legendary minions and Recombobulator that can transform a friendly minion into a random minion of the same cost are all very good reasons to have Sabotage in your Rogue deck.

Well, that's going to change the Hunter dynamic. Essentially Auchenai Soulpriest for 2 less mana (but with less funny gimmicking) and a lot less survivability. I like it.

After getting the Total Domination quest today, I decided that I was going to buy 1 last "Classic" pack before GvG rolls out. I heart Hearthstone so much!

Does pre-GvG Hearthstone belong in a museum, then? :D

Apparently GvG is out in Arena now. We all get 1 free run now and 3 packs when it should be released Monday/Tuesday.

    <*EDIT*>

I went with Hunter for the Webspinners & possible Gahz'rilla pickup. Sadly I didn't get either but I did get:

    2 Target Dummys
    1 Glaivezooka
1 Steamwheedle Sniper - That upgraded Hunter Hero Power!
    1 Metaltooth Leaper
    1 Spider Tank
    1 Mech Yeti
    1 Junkbot
    1 Madder Bomber
    1 Piloted Sky Golem

I got a very interesting & unexpected combo from Sky Golem against a Shaman that saved me the game. I killed off his Fire Ele and a Wee Spellstopper came through with the rescue!!! Sorry Shaman, no Earth Shocking Scarlet Crusader for you!!!!!!!

I drafted two goddamn arenas today (EU and NA); one this morning, and one about three minutes before this change went live. I'm not retiring a mage run with Antonidas for GvG, but holy shit it's tempting.

All it is GvG cards being playable and you get the classic pack at the end.

I've spectated a game of my friend as priest against a mage and the mage played Sneed's Old Shredder and feeling confident with 2 SW:D's in his hand he killed it and well Malygos sure isn't over 4 attack. Though he used the second on the Kel'Thuzad next turn. Anyway he continued to lose the game in a spectacular fashion with 9 damage Flamestrikes and 6 damage Arcane explosions. Was painful to watch.

Well, my free arena went 3-3. Disappointing, but such is the luck of only 5 2-drops.
