Awakening Celtic gods sounds original enough that there probably aren't many stories featuring it, so this may actually be enough information.

I managed to get to Harry buying his school stuff at Diagon before Malfoy and his Slytherin buddies started talking about how lonely and depressed he looks and how they should do something about it.

Ignoring the rest of that, I think this could have some potential for a good story. Especially since I finished my last run-through of Dragon Age the other day. Not suggesting a Dragon Age crossover, mind you (though if someone can make that work...), but the game is pretty loaded with references to old Celtic mythology, and I'm sure I'm not the only one who's become somewhat interested in it.
