Naruto hasn't been good since the battle of the valley of the end started. If Kishimoto had any balls, he would've ended the manga there, with both Naruto and Sasuke dead.

Once again Kishimoto reminds us that this is a shounen manga by not allowing any of the main character's convictions to be compromised.

But to be honest, what would Naruto have said if he'd returned to a decimated village and told everyone "Pain and I talked, and I decided to let him go."

No, I don't think that would have gone over too well. Now he gets to go back and everyone will know that Naruto's way is the right way and Naruto will get to be the Hokage and everyone will hold hands around the giant tree and sing nonsense.

If Nagato hasn't pulled off the revival jutsu i think Naruto would be in serious trouble, esp from Danzou who seems to have an agenda against him... Now that this occurred I wonder what would be Danzou's move.

Sasuke... probably it will just be 10 or so chapters of angst, emo and stuff, then fight, but end up with another draw, and Sasuke withdraws. Then Danzou, Madara, Kabuto takes the stage before the Sasuke comes back and end the manga. =D

 

I think Sasuke will take care of Danzou and his Root army.

 

Chapter 449 is up. And it sucks, oh-boy does it suck.

Though it would have been lutzy if there had at least been an "OMG its a ZOMBIE!!! Kill it, KILL IT!!!"
