So the conclusion we've come to here is that the only fights Sasuke has ever won on his own merits have been against Naruto and Killer Bee, and the latter of the two he had support for (including healing).

 

Sasuke is certainly stronger than some of the members of Akatsuki, but right now the situation is such that Danzou has the reason and the capability to eliminate Sasuke, assuming his orders are followed by his resident top jounin and god-killing jinchuuriki.

I think he's going to be sadly disappointed at their reactions to his orders, though it's unlikely to matter since Sasuke is already on his way.

Kirabee took the whole Sasuke thing as a chance to escape the village. Hence why the Akatsuki are still looking for him. Dude didn't even look like he was trying and I doubt he had to go 8tails on someone like Sasuke who he was pwning from the getgo. In part 2 he has beaten no one and gone by with a deux ex machina one after another.

 

I clearly remember when Kirabee`s deamon told him that they almost didnt make it. And Killer Bee said that Sasuke was the strongest he ever fought, and that includes his brother the leader of Cloud.

Note how he says one of the strongest, meaning there are people who he thought were stronger than Sasuke. Also note that he didn't have to go 8 tails on Sasuke.

If you include the fact that it was a 3 v 1 situation with Sasuke having to be healed no less than 2 times in the fight from fatal wounds, I think it would be fair to say Kirabee destroyed team Hawk/Hebi.

Edit: before I forget;

"Summoning me took almost all your strength" line would be invalid if he didn't have to do it at all. It isn't something he was cornered into doing.

I also wish Kirabee luck in his new career at Enka.

 

So In conclusion, the only person Sasuke's beaten on his own merits is Naruto, who just wtf! pawned Pein.

 

Don't forget that while Sasuke was "not fully recovered" (bullshit), Killer Bee had emerged from having just summoned Hachibi before he even started fighting Sasuke. He summoned his bijuu twice that day.

Does anyone but me think that Kisame is going to get raped? I mean his clone was having a bit of trouble against Team Gai and eventually lost, and Kisame flat out stated his inferiority to Jiraiya in Part 1.

I'm not saying that Killer Bee is stronger than Jiraiya, because I know that's not true, but it seems to me that Killer Bee's swordsmanship skills are going to tear Kisame apart, especially since Kisame's power points - strength and chakra - are more than likely trumped by Bee as well.

Not sure what Madara is thinking here. I always assumed that Itachi was far stronger than Kisame and now that Sasuke has fallen into Itachi's role and most likely matches him in many aspects of ninja skills, I don't think that Kisame is going to beat someone who trashed Sasuke.

Battle will be epic, though.

 

Which makes him all the more badass. He's definitly in line for the Raikage if his brother croaks.

Killer Bee seems to be holding all the cards here methinks. Though I'm not sure about Killer Bee losing to Jiriaya.

Meh, Sasuke's barely filling Itachi's role with his own team behind him. Its the one thing that holds me from saying Kishimoto's a Sasuke fanboy.

Bet you Kishimoto will be a dick and cut the scene out.

Just because at the end of the chapter they found out that Sasuke did whatever the fuck it was he did, doesn't mean that all of a sudden common sense will kick in. Nay, Naruto will still rage with Danzo (who is now Hokage in the most bad-fanfictiony move in a long time) and more bullshit.

God, I hate you hopeful people; usually you convince me that the manga is going to get better. And it only gets worse.
