So what can't Sai talk about? He can still mention Danzou and the Foundation, so that seal is nothing like the name taboo in HP. Makes me want to know how far the specs can be pushed.

"DANZOU WANTS TO TAKE CONTROL OF THE WORLD"
That is my educated guess as all Sai said is vague and probably already known to the higher ups.

If we're ranking Sasuke, I'd say he's upper A-rank. He seems a mix of Itachi, Orochimaru and Kakashi to me. In top form, Orochimaru and Itachi are definitely stronger than him (unless Orochi gets Sharingan'd), and I believe that Sasuke out-specs Kakashi, but Kakashi has MUCH more experience. Sasuke is only a teen, after all.

And you guys are bashing Danzo way too much. I like his gritty realism in this dark world of ninjas. His ideas make sense. He's obviously ruthless, but I think he's trying to protect Konoha the best he can. I'm actually surprised that we haven't seen seals like Sai's before. They do seem a bit of a deus-ex-machina in the series though.

This chapter was just crappy. Not to mention the artwork was horrible.

As I posted on ADD, I actually am starting to like Danzo now. His ideas are realistic, he knows when not to go against the village. His only offense are that he doesn't seem to like Naruto and wants to control the demon - big deal!

He's going to be a good Hokage, unless Kishimoto turns him all evil.

Did anyone else notice Naruto thought 'Kage Bushin' on page 12?

Did anyone notice that Danzo still has to get voted in as Hokage by the jounin to keep the title? Honestly, with all the hate being bandied about earlier when he was wtf!elected, I figured there would be a (smallish) sigh of relief that Kishi isn't completely off his nut.

I guess DLP is too mean to be nice. :awesome

And I always kinda assumed that Sasuke was a low S rank ninja. Sure, he can kill a bunch of ninja, but there are guys out there that can nuke his bitch ass, so he's not quite in the BIG leagues, just the big leagues. And since we all know Kishimoto's gonna pull something out of Sasuke's ass in his next fight, I think that an S rank is realistic, even if it annoys me.

    Or it's a patch-up.

And yeah that's a nice thought bubble. Can't remember if it's been drawn around Naruto before.

Not realistic. He's more of an A-rank.

    Look at his opponents:
Orochimaru: An S-rank criminal who was basically dying and still nearly beat him. He would have won the second time if not for Itachi being Itachi and kicking his ass.

Itachi: dying of an unknown disease, going blind, and oh yeah: Let Sasuke win.

Kirabi: Nearly killed him twice (despite have recently entered his ultimate form, a rather tiring thing), before he used Sasuke's attack as an excuse to cut loose from Hidden Cloud.

Deidra: Sucicide bomb that Sasuke only survived by plot no jutsu.

Versus Naruto, who's faced off against:

Kakazu: was pretty much the one who did the biggest role in killing two hearts with his Rasen-shuriken.

Orochimaru: a 4-tail form and Naruto did rather well (for someone who wasn't in control of himself). Notably Orochimaru at this point wasn't the near-corpse he was facing Sasuke.

Gaara: defeated both Gaara and the Shukaku, admittedly with Gamabunta.

Pein: Who can forget this? Despite the retarded ending Kishimito sprung on us, Naruto beat Pein, even when he tried a last-ditch effort with those chakra things.

Not to mention the amount of sheer ass whoopery he would've dealt out if he had fought when he was channeling both Kyuubi and Sage Chakra (he does, during the big talk with Nagato. His eyes end up both slit from Kyuubi and elongated from Nature chakra.)

I'm not sure that would have been a stable form. Between the Kyuubi's malicious chakra and senjutsu's calmer form, he might have damaged his chakra network if he held it long enough.

Well it's either going to be this or Sage Mode is going to be how Naruto eventually masters the Kyuubi's power.

There's a very realistic chance that Sage!Kyuubi!Naruto will be the ultimate force in the manga.

Isn't Sage form used by mixing part human and part nature chakra? Wouldn't it be possible to mix part human, part nature, and part demon in order to get 'Demonic Sage Form' or some Deus-ex shit like that?

That would confuse me to hell and back. Didn't he need his clones to gather Sage chakra back at the mountain because the Kyuubi wouldn't co-operate, meaning he couldn't do it on the move?

All Kyuubi did was fuck with the toad, if memory serves.

He did the clone thing because the oil makes it easier to gather 'Natural Chakra'. Hence, they'd be able to pull in more for when he dismissed them and gained the chakra they gathered.

I just hope it'll stop at Sage!Kyuubi!Naruto. Same cap on other characters' advancements. Already seen enough infinite power-ups from some series.

Please. Kishimoto knows a cash cow when he sees one, and even if Naruto has gotten kinda faggy, it's still raking in big bucks. Kishimoto's power-up-training-sequences rarely last long, so there's going to be more than enough time for Demonic Sage Mode and a Sasuke soliloquy and another flashback or seven before the manga goes caput. And since the fans are gonna lap it up, Kishi's gonna keep on writing more uber power ups and other gay shit.

I think that the only ultimate ninja power that can bring any sort of redemption to this story would be Naruto's ability to brutally mangle an enemy - shinobi style - for once in his fucking life.

And now, Gaara and the Raikage had something to do with the destruction of the Uchiha clan. :/

I swear, just when you think he can't get anymore retarded.

Er... where does it say that? I've a cold so my mind isn't 100% right now... but where in that chapter does it say that Gaara had something to do with the destruction of the Uchiha clan?

All I can see is that Tobi wants Sasuke to kill Danzo, and Sasuke's decided to kill all of them.

Gaara couldn't have had anything to with Itachi. Gaara was too busy being a "demon child" and killing assassins his Dad sent.

    EDIT: Them = Kages.

I'm curious about where you got that idea, too, Bucks. I just finished reading the chapter, and while it does say that Danzo had something to do with the clan (mostly by screwing with Itachi), it said nothing about Gaara or the Raikage.
