A Naruto vs. Nagato re-match would definitely be a tough fight. However, if Naruto ends up learning how to control the Nine-Tailed Fox's power (and since he's apparently going to be meeting up with Killer Bee soon that's a distinct possibility) then Naruto would win. Pain's Chibaku Tensei couldn't hold Naruto at Eight Tails, so if Naruto learns to use all nine of them and combines it with sage mode...

I would agree with that; Nagato and Itachi working together would be scary as hell.

 

Sasuke, Kabuto, Madara, Zetsu, Kisame and the Zombie Akatsuki would make one strong invasion force.

With that many Akatsuki members still around I can see this Managa going a lot longer than it appeared it would've a couple of chapters ago.

Although I suspect we might see a bit more from the other villages when it comes to Akatsuki now that are allied together against them.

Epic chapter is epic. I'm mildly pleased that some of my theories on how jinchuriki work turned out to be pretty close to canon.

Also, Killer Bee is crazy awesome even when he's just bored and thinking during a big war meeting. Bonus points to Kishimoto for using him to provide some great meta humor.

Any guesses on who Kabuto resurrected that scared the crap out of Madara? My guess would be Minato.

Based on Madara's reaction, Im saying its either Minato, sage of the 6 paths, or posssibly Madara's brother. Minato and the Sage could probably stomp Madara into the ground on a bad day for them and a good day for Madara. Im saying his brother is a possiblity just based on his reaction.

I was thinking it was Madara's original body. Assuming he's a body snatcher.

The chapter really reassured me. Naruto's actually planning to use all of the Kyuubi's chakra without the seal helping? Interesting.

 

I think it's the 4th, Oro had it but it was never used...On the other hand the 3rd did stop the summoning of him during his battle with Oro, But i don't know if they destroyed the body.

 

The question is if anyone of the Hokage's can be Summoned at this point. Remember all the dead ones are chilling in the belly of the death god.

 

The Yondaime was already in the death god's stomach when Orochimaru tried to summon him the first time.

 

And the Summoning was never finished so we have no way of knowing if it would have actually worked. For all we know it would have just turned out ot be a dead body that looked like Minato.

 

Orochimaru never tried to summon Minato that was anime only. If I remember correctly Kishimoto stated in an interview that he was shocked to see it in the anime but doesn’t have anything to decide in the anime. http://www.onemanga.com/Naruto/118/01/

 

Naruto pulling off the seal: His very last resort, his one hit KO, his "Rocks fall, everyone dies" option. I mean that was kind of the situation when he was trying to kill Nagato.

Though he was being influenced by the Kyuubi... hmm.

@tim86: I think the reason why the anime added it was because in the previous page Oro thinks "The third one... didnt work, it seems. Oh well that's fine." Guess the animators wanted it to be more dramatic or something.

Im thinking its possible that it is actually Madara's body that was just summoned. Reasoning is that im still curious why he needed Nagato to resurrect him when he attained all the tailed beasts. It would stand to reason that if he combined them into the ten tailed demon then took it into himself to become a Jinchuuriki, then died, it would die with him and the need to be resurrected would be redundant.

 

Hell it could be Hanzo, but the idea of it being Madara's body is a good one too.

 

Hey, if Naruto removes the seal, then what happens to him and Kyuubi after they die? I'm pretty sure that one of the main functions of the seal was to drag all of those involved into the Shinigami's stomach.

 

The new chapter is awesome. I wonder was Kabuto is up to. Is he actually possessed by Orochimaru?

How long is Kisame going to stay with Bee? It would be cool if Bee and Naruto fight Kisame together.

 

Don't think the key is a way to unseal the Kyuubi. All Naruto needs to do for that is to walk up to the seal and pull it off. Of course, Minato's going to stop him if that happens. So the key's probably a way for Naruto to pull large amounts of the Kyuubi Chakra in a controlled manner.

 

Good ol' round of 'What's in the casket?' Fuck that, we've all played that game more times than anyone wants to remember, and every damn time our predictions were not just blown apart, but fucking obliterated by the troll that is Kishi.

The only thing I liked about this chapter is the pleasantly familiar sense of dread I got from Orochimaru's plotting. Him and his bad mojo...
