Its going to be really funny if samehada turns into frog and then stone after trying to absorb sage chakra. What an end for Kisame who'd be stuck in the sword...

 

That would be pretty epic. Samehada eats sage charka, turns to stone but I bet Kisame would escape before he turned to stone in time to face them both, Zetsu is watching, Sasuke comes, gets pwnt, saved by Madara, returned to hideout where Kabuto tries to take over him when he is weakened.

 

The idea of anyone taking on Bee and Naruto is funny as hell. Even without the Kyuubi Naruto is one of the most dangerous and powerful shinobi in the world. Then you have Bee who is pretty much the same except fully in control of the octopus.

 

I have not been this excited for a Naruto chapter in a long time.

Isn't this idea from Star Wars? That Dark Side Cave where Luke goes has something similar, doesn't it?

The dark side cave was more about showing Luke's fears. I've got a feeling this is going to be a temptation/'WTF man' deal.

 

Evil Naruto should be interesting, if for no other reason than the fact that Naruto's never really shown much in the way of evil impulses.

Also, Naruto and Killer Bee's conversations were full of utter hilarity. Naruto trying to rap and the return of harem jutsu were great.

 

I guess we get to see how Naruto could have turned out. As talented as Naruto is he could have easily turned out like Sasuke.

Sure, seeing evil Naruto could be cool and all, but we all know that the real Naruto is going to defeat him somehow, making him all the more goody two-shoes. This 'evil clone, your true subconscious self' thing plot device to power the hero up and make him sure of his path is just annoying to me. Seen it all before.

Naruto whining to Bee was lulz. Selfish little prick. But lol @ harem no jutsu XD I guess we'll have some humour chapters before the next big conflict.

Meh I know your most likely right but am I the only one holding out hope for something more along the lines of he has to accept that those sort of impulses are a part of every human being and that whats been holding him back is that he was repressing it so in order to get stronger he has to absorb it, therefore making him more like the Evil Clone? Still Naruto but with a healthy dose of cynicism, realism and logic to balance out his decisions now? I know it won't happen but I can wish right?

 

That will probably happen in countless fanfictions...

 

This one chapter will now spawn an entire sub-genre of fanfics centered around Naruto 'accepting his darker half'.

95% of those stories are going to be slash where he becomes his own bitch.

Logic is evil?

Any pretence of originality flew out of the window. But I can't say I disliked the chapter, quite the opposite in fact.

It feels like everything is coming together and we're on the final act...finally. Let's hope this run of good chapters lasts till the end so it can end on a high.

Nah but can you point out to me more than a handful at absolute best of Narutos decisions that have been made using cold hard logic?

 

A handful might be pushing it. Naruto does what he thinks is right, not what logic says is right.

 

Exactly my point, as I said I know it won't happen most likely but what I'd love to see is for Naruto to come back with this with the ability to sit down and think a situation out logically instead of just doing whatever he thinks is the right thing to do.

As I said though Id put money on it not happening outside of fanfiction.

 

Naruto doesn't need logic, he has plot armor.
