This, and (maybe something was lost in translation, but) why is the Kyuubi on a first name basis with Naruto's mom?

Guess she was getting lonely in Naruto's empty skull.

 

And, it's pretty much canon.

 

Obvious love affair.

 

Especially since it looked like Naruto had to adjust his pants before standing up at the end there.

 

After reading new chapter I'm sure of that. And because it is almost canon ("my Mom's a babe") and more people will think about that, maybe there will be one readable.

And this special chakra? Whatever this is, I hope that Naruto doesn't have it (or at least it's only in his seal). Orange Hokage (really?) doesn't need any super special power for free. He is not Uchiha.

 

It's probably the reason Naruto has so much chakra.

 

At first I felt bad about the chapter, but it ended up all right.

Kushina was amusing for sure. Naruto made me want to facepalm, especially his idiot grins, but I suppose it was kinda funny chapter.

Kushina, before she told Naruto she loved him, her smile looked like she was gonna kill him instead XD

I'll be expecting alot more fics where Naruto finds Kushina and Minato in the seal when he's a child and blah blah blah.

Kushina's chakra is a little special? More details, please!

 

Anyone else kinda annoyed at the continuous nerfing of Kyuubil? When the story began, it was a nigh unstoppable force that a ridiculously powerful shinobi had to sacrifice his life just to contain, not even kill. Then we learn that certain bloodlines could control it, though there were limitations (Mokuton(sp?) still required the necklace and is significantly weakened in its current 'clone' incarnation, and Uchiha required the M. Sharingan, which came with the drawback of eventual blindness). And now it seems that Kushina's 'special chakra' can similarly restrain the Kyuubi, and as just an afterthought to boot, while mother and son have a nice chat...


I want my "Tear-down-mountains-and-cause-tsunamis-while-decimating-an-entire-army" Kyuubi back

 

The dreaded Bloody Habanero can pwn the Kyuubi. Makes sense to me .

I'm trapped between wanting a speedy resolution so we can get on with the story and being seriously disappointed in how impotent the fearsome Bijuu have more or less all been rendered. I suppose it was bound to happen with the introduction of the even more powerful Juubi but its still kind of annoying. Four-tailed Naruto's power and seeming invincibility suggested a far more powerful Kyuubi than what I'm seeing now.

Kushina was ok though, her look and personality...fits. And though she's got some of Naruto's traits she's different enough to be interesting. I thought it was kinda cliché that both his parents wanted to be Hokage but I spose in a ninja village quite a few would hold that aspiration.

Pretty good, informative chapter overall, just wish the Kyuubi would have put up more of a fight.

Someone mentioned the the anime; I caught back up with it recently hoping for an epic fight scene between Naruto and Pein but it turned out trapped somewhere between average and slightly above average. The episodes were pretty amazing up to the point of Konoha's destruction but after that..... They kinda failed to convey things like the speed properly, the drawing's a bit off at times and the animation is nowhere near as crisp and fluid as before. :-(
The Valley of the end remains perhaps the best animated fight

 

We already know that Naruto has that special chakra, it was vaguely mentioned back during the Orochimaru fight. Now whether it is just the chakra Kushina added to the seal or whether Naruto produces it on his own is unknown.

There is going to be more speculation that Naruto is related to the Senju through his mother with that chakra. Like Pein has some distant relation to the Uchiha.

 

Was I the only one who didn't like this Kushina at all? I mean, there is being similar to your mom and then there is being almost the same with some traits of Sakura mixed in. I didn't like her at all. I mean Kushina is practically how I imagined a daughter of Sakura and Naruto to behave like, but since it is Naruto's mom, it seems a bit weird.

Dunno, that, the cliché fluff and an even weaker kyuubi kind of sucked everything from this chapter that I might have enjoyed.
