I think it's more to do with his other eye than his identity. The Izanagi was his trump card previously and Naruto and co don't know about it, only Sasuke does having faced danzo.

I still say it has something to do with the coffin and possibly Minato or the first Hokage. And supposedly he is immortal, how we have yet to find out.

The one eye-hole in his mask and the fact that we've guessed he used Inzanagi to survive Hashirama has lead to people making a lot of assumptions about Madara's one-eyed-ness and I suspect the mystery about his face will have something to do with what ever is hidden there- be it a mutated never before seen sharingan/rin'negan/other eye technique. You needed more than the sharingan to read the full tablet hidden under the mat in the Uchiha compound afterall.

Don't quote me on this though, this is only speculation on my part.

 

When it comes to "what does Madara look like", well there's always the giant fucking statue of him in the valley of the end.

Hello, and sorry for butting in, but I too am a fan of the manga series, and I'd like to participate in the discussion, Be gentle with me, I'm a newbie.


Admittedly, my fav character is Neji. I'm not sure why, his attitude on the first part was dickish, but....something. I'm not sure.

To at least keep the illusion of trying to stay on topic, am I the only one who can't read the current chapters? I just quickly scroll through to make sure that nothing kick-ass from Naruto is happening and click the fine red button on the top right corner of my screen. Shitty filler is shitty, I guess?

I'd say that yes, you may be. But I do have to admit, that while these chapters were not boring, I feel like something more important is about to happen, and am kinda unimpressed with the current ones.

Not surprised Kisame died; as soon as any Naruto villain start flashbacking mid-battle, death is all but certain to follow. Still, Kisame had a pretty awesome end, and it looks like he might have even managed to get the last laugh.

Also, Konan vs. Madara looks like it should be interesting; odds are Konan will lose (No way Kishimoto would allow a female a significant victory against the Big Bad) but if handled well it should make for an interesting fight.

 

Pretty good chapter. Didn't expect the bit at the end with Konan. But it should be awesome to see her in action against Madara.

Kisame stayed epic until the end. Lulz @ the interaction between him and Itachi when they first met. Itachi was gonna pwn him. Itachi looked fair epic in those drawings. All the kisame arc drawings looked fucking shit bad. Once it changed to the flashback it was fine and then with Konan it was back to normal.

Looking forward to seeing what state Pain is in as it seems Madara is seeking his Rinnegan. We never found out if he died or not did we? We assumed he died from reviving all of Konaha. I can't remember that particular part.

I'll admit that I was unsure as to how Kisame would end up after the fight, but it seems everyone was right in the camaraderie between him and Itanchi. I think Kisame was one of the best and he deserves my respect.

Now, on to the next point. Naruto was totally useless after taming tha Kyuubi's chakra, which was mainly used to show off Guy and Kisame. Understandable, but I don't like it.



I'm sorry to say guys, Konan does not stand a snowball's chance in hell. I only hope she managed to somehow extract where she hid Nagato from herself or something, so Madara won't get it.

 

Fuck yeah, Konan.

I can't really seeing her winning, but her powers are sort of outside the scale of what we've seen Madara able to compete with so far. Should be an interesting fight if the whole thing is shown.

 

Especially because her ability (is it a bloodline?) is one of the most unique and interesting utilizations of chakra in this universe.

It's a pity that there aren't any well written origami!Naruto fics.

 

How could Konan operate in the Hidden Rain anyway? Doesn't rain render her useless?

 

Poor Konan. I wish she lives, maybe her paper jutsu gives her some sort of escape plan.

 

Well, Konan was expecting him so...hopefully she has a cunning plan. At least Kisame stayed awesome 'till the end.
