I'm predicting Light/Dragon and Dark/Dragon. We're about due for a new type.

 

Lulz. People keep predicting a "light" type. Gamefreak added Dark and Steel because the typechart was horribly unbalanced. Why would they add another type to unbalance it after they had fixed it?

 

To change things that don't need changing? To actually look as if they're doing something new with the games?

 

IIRC wasn't Dark Type's Japanese name Evil Type? Why would there be a Light Type? If they introduced a new type wouldn't it make more sense for it to be Good Type?

Yes, Dark type = Evil type in Japan. Doesn't mean they don't consider everything else as "Not evil". Just my opinion but ig there was a light type, it probably would have happened in time for Togekiss.

 

Dark type is known as Aku type so, yeah it directly translate to evil type but it refers more to underhanded style of fighting like pursuit, beat up and thief since pokemon are supposed be decidedly not evil.

Anyway, someone theorized that the theme for these pokemon are Nature/Technology because Reshiram seems to be a pure spirit-like pokemon, while Zekrom is sharp and distinct, like technology.

According to Serebii.net, they're at least part-Dragon. I don't think there will be a "Light" type this generation either. Stick with what they know, I say.

 

Zekrom looks like he is part metal so I'm going for Dragon/Metal type.

Also, it looks pretty cool.

Reshiram looks like a retarded Maltese dogbird and Zekrom's tail looks like its got a fossilised Slowbro attached to it. Badass though, with the armour plated appearance. If only its tail looked more like a stegosaurus' tail.

 

AS far back as Gen 2 I've always preferred one of the flagship legendaries of the games to be cooler than the other, and hence got that game. This time though, I don't know which I prefer

 

You could wait for the third version. If it's like Platinum, then it'll have both of them.

Black and White seem to be coming out in Spring 2011. The "remixed" versions usually come out around 2 years later.

I'm not too sure I can wait until 2013, or forgive myself if I don't play the originals and end up getting hit by a giant meteorite in 2012.

 

Has anyone else noticed that Reshiram has claws sticking out of the top of its wings? Those have got to be the most ineffective hands ever.
