I once had a decent online conversation with that author, although we disagreed on many central concepts regarding the fandom. They believed that Harry was not straight, and I disagreed. Classic case of me being right and the author being wrong. It was a very well written story, unbearable at times to read, and with no real resolution. I got the feeling that the author didn't really know where to go.

 

Yeah, with that story there is hardly a way to reach a 'good' ending. In my opinion Harry is damaged beyond repair and it would need some really brilliant plot twists to have him overcome Voldemort.
