Nestea opened up basically the best he could of against an FFE. But Naniwa held on for so long. I agree Bio, but the thing is, a comeback was possible the entire time. We've seen them from worse places.

Though not against Nestea I'd admit.

It really wasn't. Not when you're that far down. Still, it was crazy to watch Naniwa hold on for that long.

I think if Naniwa had hung around longer when he went with his 3 voids and.. however many Phoenixes he had and had killed off the evo chamber and harrassed a bit more he probably could've made a better come back, that said the counter by Nestea was brilliantly done.

I dunno, a part of me says Nani could've come back from that, but putting his Cybercore in his wall off leading to Warp-Gate ending up cancelled was what killed him off really. Standard wall off but I think a Gateway would've been a better choice.

The last major chance for a comeback died when those Spores finished. It didn't matter that Naniwa killed NesTea's hydralisk den because units win games and NesTea's macro lead was not going to be overcome regardless of lacking anti-air.

Good phoenix play but I'm not in the business of rewarding people for fantasy gg timing :). Nestea had a 100 supply lead and Naniwa was still trying.

Edit: The reason the gateway wasn't in the wall-off was because the FFE was ruined and he needed a gateway period. The game was really over then but there was that small chance of "surprising" someone who is going to go roach/ling by successfully executing a stargate play. But it's Nestea. He knows the timings in and out even when the game isn't standard and he knows what his opponent can do.

True, but he had a Gateway back in his mian, he could've thrown down a 2nd and at least started Zealot production or something rather than have it sit idle.

Still, looking forward to a good rubber-game, hopefully a massive macro game, in the mean-time Major's all over Keen in the TvT on the other stream in Game 3. Not going to stay up for IdrA vs MC, much as I want to...

Why? Stephano and DeMusliM in I44 kicking off in 7 hours or so, and with TLO out (a longshot favourite) I've only got MKP left to cheer on at Providence so, need my sleep.

God I hope MC doesn't fuck this up. I mean, IdrA is playing really well at the moment, and PvZ is not exactly MC's strong suit at the moment (possibly his weakest matchup, actually!)

    NesTea is pissed.

With that, goodnight, eagerly awaiting the VoD's tomorrow, well, later today.

Motherfucking NaNiwa. Beating NesTea in Bo3s twice in a weekend like it's no big deal.

It was no big deal afaic. Naniwa is a poor sport. That whole pause in game 3 was a joke and should've been an instant loss or restart (if the tourny stated the wrong info). Scout then get a minute to think up something. Wouldn't that be awesome if everyone could do that for every game?

    Edit: Jesus @ Huk's defense.

It has nothing to do with his rank. That's just one of MC's nicknames (along with Boss Toss, Obama Protoss, Tastosis's 'Kratos Protoss', and another personal favorite of mine: Suicide Toss.)

No, no. It was decided Huk had taken over on TL after MLG Orlando :)

...That's dumb. Fuck what TL thinks. HuK can be the king or whatever, MC is the Protoss President forever (if only because he claims to want to actually be the South Korean president in the future :D)

EDIT: More directly, I just really like "Protoss President" as a nickname for MC and don't really want to use any of his other ones (except Suicide Toss, depending on the situation.)

Protoss President is by far better than his other nicknames(barring Suicide Toss.) Though I did quite like the Flounder nickname he got from Kim HyungJoon Becomes A Progamer.

Leenock vs Boxer with Tastosis? Feels good man. Shame it's probably going to be horribly one-sided (Leenock is good.)

EDIT: Or Leenock can choose to play super greedy on a two-player map against a player known for early aggression. :facepalm

That was a good engagement, but he's still 20 food down as a Zerg and as far as I know, still down in workers (not positive about that.)

EDIT: The unit tab went up and yeah, Leenock's down in workers. Boxer's food lead just jumped to ~40
EDIT2: Well, there went that lead. THAT was a great engagement.

    Base race?

edit: poor Boxer. I always root for him, though, because he's just so awesome. That Team Slayer's video they have playing every so often on the stream is touching : )

I'm honestly amazed that game ended that way, given how it started.
