'Twas the night before Stellaris, when all thro' the house Not a member was stirring, not even a Bioplague'd mouse; The keyboards were hung by the chimney with care, In hopes that Stellaris would be there; The DLPer's were nestled all snug in their beds, While visions of Spacefaring Spiders in their heads,
I want to try a fanatical xenophobe/militarist species. No alliances. Pure dominance over other species. And then I want to do the opposite. No war, just pure pacifist and spiritualist. Only 3 hours and 25 minutes bros.
Randomly clicked that link to the stream, and lots of people are commenting on the game being available in 3 minutes... Looking forward to it.
uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuhg. Do want so much, but work for 5 more hours.
I gave in. Downloading the game now and hoping I can play it on lowest settings. EDIT: My first game is absolutely going to be all genocide, all the time, though. I'm sick of watching Pacifist Materialist Let's Plays. Purge the xenos, the mutants, the heretics.

It is surprisingly light to run. I have 0 lag whatsoever on my laptop so far. I forgot to take a screenshot at start, but know that the High Council of Gallifrey is going strong despite a weak starting position.
I'm not playing this for a few weeks because uni... but pre-ordered nova to get my hands on those beautiful arachnids.
Spider race is Nova edition or Galaxy edition, not pre-order. They're also basically just a unique portrait, no unique ship skins or anything. (Yet, at least.)
This has run pretty smooth for me, I did a human start in the Sol system only to discover another Sol system later in game only about 1o system over, it had the same build as my version except Earth was a tomb world
