I don't really know where you're getting this "not townreading newcomb" thing from, I don't really know what's hard to follow here. I kept asking you about why you felt comfortable with Newcomb after Regfan dropped (read as -> gave, if that's the actual missing link then lol) his read. I didn't really like your responses and think that if you truly had hard paranoia about Newcomb than you wouldn't immediately feel at ease about him from a skim of a meta read.

 

Like I kinda alluded to it earlier when I mentioned waiting to see what he'd do with his activity flurry, but I feel like there's been a flurry of activity from him now with all the vote!pressure and he's basically using a few things as crutches to focus all of the activity flurry time on. And then closes it off with a nice red bow of "hey guys there's my activity flurry don't vote me pls"

Regfan at one point said he'd bet the game on Newcomb being town around that time. Nothing's indicated Regfan is a huge exaggerator, which has left me taking it strongly into consideration. Part of the miscommunication may be I have no idea what you mean by Regfan dropping the read/withdrawing it/whatever, so I don't really follow from there on at all

 

If they want to keep voting me for my content then that's fine, can pick their brains about it when they present it. But it looked like they all voted me for low activity reasons.

4/4 counterwagons on empoof + beruru doesn't scream w/w. I think Jarizok and Vaimes are both town so Nego is definitely not a scum-led counterwagon. Same with stanari wrt NH. It basically leaves the wagon on me (dLGN + empoof) and the non-voters.

Like where are the scum votes then? I don't think they're piling on to bus all together, which argues that this is t/w wagons?

Like it's obvious I have too many townreads here. Beruru and empoof are the two leading wagons (and have been). Beruru one popped up with me + Newcomb. Beruru votes empoof. font + kai pile onto beruru. NH, Eid, and regfan pile onto empoof.

NH and Kai are probs unaligned?

I don't think I can fathom a world where beruru and empoof are both town - in such a world I'm basically running in the absolute wrong direction right now, and the thread is too per the above VC.

I think I was operating under the premise that Beruru + empoof are probably not w/w because they voted empoof pretty soon after getting pressure, but it appears like more of a vote-park (without an expectation it'd build to a wagon).

I think I may retract my prior statement on them probs not being w/w wagons, or at least reduce the strength of that assertion significantly

 

Can you talk to me about your Nego and Fonti reads?

 

What about your thoughts on the VC instead of going through iso's? Any thoughts on the fact that the competing wagons are Beruru + empoof rn? Or thoughts on how they formed etc.? You mentioned/appear to be a player that likes VCA and I'm telling you right now this VC is freaking juicy

 

I also don't fully understand your wolf read on me but I assume it's based off of me deciding to post more after votes telling me to post more that I didn't see so it's somewhat circular.

Is there something about my posts that you think come from a wolf perspective?

I can see potential worlds outside beruru/me from your perspective without being in a totally wrong direction in like fonti/nego/kai/NH

 

I'm slightly leaning town on Nego, through a combo of his VCA earlier (at a skim level, just realized I haven't glanced at it again as it made my eyes fuzz over last time) + the weird defeatist attitude he's had toDay.

I'm slightly leaning town on fontisian because of the way she's approached me D1 + getting feelings of 'trying-to-figure-people-out' toDay, but it takes a lot for me to feel comfortable town!reading fontisian a la newcomb

It's partly that you decided to post more and partly I felt like the focus of your time wasn't great. I don't necessarily scum-read you for it per se, but it hasn't earned town-read points and I'm in a similar position to Eidolonic from earlier where I've got a lot of town-reads running around and you're basically hard!slotted in my PoE, by nature of being a replacement slot for a drop in activity (tsiah having not posted for awhile due to being sick) + you taking awhile to ramp up the activity and not swaying me once you did

I'm sad about talking into a vacuum without sanity checks and going to take a break for a bit.

I have a lot of thoughts on kai/NH being unaligned that I literally just posted, unless you disagree with them? Tbh that world feels like it has 1 scum at most (and probably does have 1 as opposed to 0)

 

I still don't think Beru is a wolf but I don't think Empoof is either based on his posting from today. I'd have to dig deeper though and figure out who he replaced again.

I do still want to vote fontisian but people say i'm wrong to read her post as antagonist so who knows. /shrugemoji

Ramp up to activity is NAI given I couldn't really post the past 2 days for "reasons" and work, unlucky if we're both town and you just can't view that world for hardslotted PoE reasons.

Not that it helps, but I concur with those other posts wrt Fontisian and antagonistic, I also think I somewhat read her that way way early on when starting to play mafia with her and learned otherwise over time

 

Read it and don't necessarily disagree but I haven't hard ruled it out, if that makes sense. Feel like there's a lot of wiggle room for stuff like that when there are 4 scum.

 

NAI activity shift recently is fair, but again the focus of your time hasn't held gems of pure!town gleaming at me (or at least that I have noticed thus far).

I'm 100% happy and welcome any sanity checks you'd like to provide. Hell, you could literally just Ctrl+F me pinging newcomb to find the specific posts. I pinged him because he was around 20 minutes prior + I know he can provide good ones, but those were all open to anybody. The shoddy attempt at VCA so far also included. Ex: the one wrt NH and Kai being unaligned

There's wiggle room but the crux for me is that Kai was the only player he talked about in length/with confidence for like half of D1, when looking through his iso (NH's)

 

It's possible there's 3 scum on me in regfan/beruru/nothing happens and we can lol post game for them thinking that I would roll over as a slot.
