Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

Post PoA. Sirius was given sanctuary with the Goblin nations despite Fudge and the Ministry's best efforts. It was not done out of the goodness of their heart, however; they demanded a price for his safety. Dumbledore and Harry must enter that secret world beneath Gringotts Bank, and recover the mythical Goblet of Fire.

(bits of plot: Goblinkind is suffering from a disease that is eroding their intelligence and killing them. They feared it was made by wizards and/or if wizards found out, they would use the disease or a cure to dominate the goblins forever. Only some - under contract like Gringotts employee Bill Weasley, or distinguished and trusted people like Dumbledore - knew of their plight. Due to his relationship with Sirius, Harry is dragged into this, and joined a team of wizards and goblins to travel deep beneath Gringotts in their search for the mythical Goblet of Fire. it was a token when ancient wizards and goblins made peace 7,000 years ago, and a repository of magical knowledge. Goblin scholars believed it might have a cure to the disease. But the Goblet was ancient and its magic nearly completely gone. Harry used its last flicker of magic to save a young goblin's life.)

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

Post GoF. The ancient sacred fire of the Goblet is extinguished, and the goblins and wizards of Europe are now at the brink of war. As Dumbledore fought to keep the peace, Harry takes on Fawkes' offer for a long shot, a desperate chance to save the Wizarding World.

(bits of plot: goblins going nuts, some wizards want to keep peace while others want to go hard on them. Dumbledore tries to keep peace. In their desperation, Ex-Death Eaters found Pettigrew and helped him resurrect Voldemort. Elsewhere, goblins and wizards raided and skirmished. Fawkes took Harry and the young goblin (nicknamed Goblet after his ordeal) to the Eyrie. There a gathering of phoenixes inspired Harry to examine Goblet - who might have been cured by the magic of the Goblet of Fire.)

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

Post-GoF. Voldemort has returned, and Harry's blood flows through his veins. Meanwhile, the only other person alive with a connection to Voldemort, Ginny Weasley, refuses to speak to Harry. What is she hiding? How did Voldemort survive that Halloween in 1981? And does the terrible Order of the Phoenix, practicing forbidden ancient Egyptian lore, have the answer? When Ginny is taken by the Order, Harry will do anything to save her, but that might just tip the scales towards Voldemort, as the Dark Army gathers and the storm approaches ...

Harry Potter and The Half-Blood Prince

Emboldened and angered by the revelation of his return, Voldemort plunged magical Britain into chaos. The ministry is crumbling; people are dying, and the Order of the Phoenix are overwhelmed. Even worse, rumours that a half-wizard goblin prince has seized power are spreading. Voldemort has already made overtures with a promise to give goblins wands. Can Harry figure out who the mysterious half-blood prince and convince him of Voldemort's true nature before the goblins join the fight?

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

Harry is awoken at midnight by the arrival of a Phoenix in his bedroom, seeking to Bond with him. The Phoenix explains the power and wisdom that will be granted to Harry if he chooses to accept, but also makes clear the downside - the Phoenix will not be Harry's familiar, Harry will be the Phoenix's familiar.

Definitely been reading too much ao3 lately

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban

The upper years don't hesitate in pointing out their new Defense Against the Dark Arts professor. He's young, they say, and his hair shines like firelight in the Great Hall. Voices cut to silence like falling dominoes as knowledge of who he is, whose brother he is, knocks from one social circle to another.

Harry sets down his quiz on the conjunctivitis curse. He isn't alone in noticing Bill Weasley has spent the entire class period staring out the window.

Everyone's glum except Hagrid, who's glum and angry. ''’S all from bloody Azkaban! ... all Dark magic, everythin'... poor Ginny', he slurs. Harry thinks about it as he sits atop a trunk fettered in iron chains, legs jolting as Riddle's diary hurtles itself against the lid. If he finds the prison - if he can cauterize the birthplace of darkness -

Ron tells him Azkaban is somewhere in the North Sea. 'It's guarded by demons', hisses a Slytherin Prefect as she drags Harry from the Restricted Section, 'who have no soul and want yours’.

A dead girl's blood stains his hands and the diary that killed her. The diary, split by a basilisk fang, from which a girlish spectre only he can see tries to climb out every night, her eyes lurid red and pleading for freedom.

Maybe Ginny isn't truly dead. If Harry can get rid of Dark magic, maybe Ginny can live again.

Nah, the "too much AO3" thing would be something like

Any title you want because it'll be barely relevant to the plot

Harry is an Omega, and when he turns 16 his mate will be revealed. Draco is an Alpha who is still looking for an Omega to settle down with. Will they find each other or will their school yard rivalry ruin everything for them.

@Mordecai LOL you forgot that Draco has a disease which makes flowers grow in his lungs, which will kill him if he doesn't confess to Harry within the year.

Nah, that would be a different fic, also completely up AO3's street.

Draco is ill, dying from a curse cast on his family generations ago. The only cure is true loves first kiss, but Draco feels thats hopeless because the only person can think about is that damned scarhead Potter. He can't love Potter, he can't love a Gryffindor. Can he?

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

A new year, a new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher. Artemis Lane was an Auror, the last surviving member of the Order of the Lion, and possibly sent by Minister Fudge to spy on Dumbledore and Harry both. Anyone's Fifth Year is hard, what with looming O.W.L.s and onrushing adulthood, but Harry Potter must also face the death of Cedric Diggory and the rumors that he himself was Diggory's killer. Plus, the insignificant details that are Lord Voldemort's return to the flesh, the looming Second Blood War, and the politics that go with it. Will Harry stay sane in school, will Fudge even allow him to keep his wand, and will he dodge Voldemort's assassins long enough to finish the year? And Will Dumbledore and his Order of Merlin help? And who is the Order of the Phoenix, how did they get into Hogwarts, and why are they recruiting?

Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone

Harry Potter is not a wizard, never visited a magical school in a castle, and did not grow up in a cupboard under the stairs. Instead he grew up as the sole child of the aristocratic Lord James Potter, Earl of Abingdon. Harry proved to be a highly intelligent student, graduating from his boarding school of Hogwarts with top marks and an interest in archaeology, spurred on by his mentor Tom Riddle. At the age of twenty-one, Harry's plane crashed in the Himalayan mountains, leaving him stranded for two weeks along with his fiance, Fleur Delacour. While he managed to survive the accident, Fleur ultimately succumbed to injuries sustained during the crash. Driven by grief, Harry seeks out the mythological Philosopher's Stone and its Elixir of Life, which is in the hands of an ancient society known as the Knights of Walpurgisnight...and may be closer than he thought...
