It's out!

I loved it. Wholesome and EXCELLENT and a shining ray of fun in an otherwise shit year.

Didn't have quite as many laughs as Excellent Adventure, and the dialogue had some awkward beats, but I think it was as good, if not better than, Bogus Journey.

 

I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this movie. Its not as good as Excellent Adventure, but it hits a sweet spot and is solid in its own right. The fact that is also only 90 minutes is a big plus- it never overstays its welcome.

 

Where are you guys watching it though. Both Google play and prime video are saying not available to me.
Is the video on demand region specific?

 

I have a Fire stick and I bought it through amazon.

 

This was really good. Typically sequels made in the future are god-awful and fail to capture what made the original great, this avoids that entirely. The opening was a bit on the slow side and probably could've been cut down slightly but movie's still amazing.

If my knowledge of bill and ted consists only of memes, should I watch it?

 

It's a good film, but it's also very much a sequel. The first one (Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure) is still an eminently watchable film and you can find it on a lot of different platforms. So there is really no reason not to start with that and see if you like the characters and the style of humor before diving into the sequels.

Having seen it with my wife, who didn't even have meme knowledge, this was an excellent recommendation. We loved it. It was as predictable as a movie gets, but I had fun. And I forgot what fun meant.
