    There have been some theories that Star Wars takes place in the Andromeda Galaxy, which is 2.537 million light years away from the Milky Way.

    Cool, I'm not a huge Star Wars fan so I don't know all of the intricacies and theories.

    By the way, The Witcher series can also exist in the same universe as Hp, the mages in that verse are aware of multiple worlds and the Elder Blood can be used to transport oneself to different planets and even timelines.

    Isn't there also a theory that someone (Revan?) went on an expedition "a long long time ago" outside of the Galaxy that led to colonization of Earth? Hence why there are humans in two galaxies.

    I wish I was as big a Star Wars buff as I am a Trekkie. I'd actually know this Instead of needing to ask.

    I think that mostly came about due to some easter eggs in the Lucas Films movies. Like E.T.s being in the Galactic Senate, symbols resembling R2D2 and C3PO on the Ark of the Covenant from Indiana Jones, and something about a skeleton?
