    I'm looking for any fic where Voldie (or an OC villain) is actually competent. Can be any kind of fic so long as it is readable. Please do not recommend methods of rationality.

    Total flaimbait, but the Sacrifices Arc has several competent (or insanely overpowered) villains. To say anything more would rather ruin the story.

    Usual warnings apply; SUPER!Angst, HP/DM, 3millionfuckingwordslong, boatload of cliches (though to be fair it probably spawned them), etc. etc.

    Uh... Wastelands/Heartlands, I guess.

    Lets see... The Denarian Trilogy?

    Echoes of Power, lol. Probably not your cup of tea, but you never know...

    That's all I can think of.
